  1. Thank you! 1040 isn't applicable in this situation instead of 1099? Fiance is working right now, so I'll bring up the 1099s when possible. Thanks again!
  2. Hi VisaJourney! We filed K1 and my interview is pretty soon, on April 9th! I would like some second opinions, regardless that I am almost done collecting all I need for the interview. My fiance is in his last year of university, works on the side but of course we need a joint sponsor, which will be his dad. Like mentioned in the title, his father is self-employed and I have yet to find someone who has their interview in Germany, with a joint sponsor that is self-employed lol! But I guess the same applies if the main petitioner were self-employed. As I have already received instructions for the interview and heard of other people who had their interview in Frankfurt, the only things they want to see are: I-134, IRS transcripts (3y) and W2's (3yrs). Well, of course our joint sponsor does not have W2's. For now I have suggested we get a bank statement from him (I'm also going to bring proof of citizenship for his father, as that obviously wasn't confirmed in the I-129F like with my fiance). But not sure what else to bring, if it's satisfactory. I would be glad to hear from others who know of someone in the same situation and how they did! Thank you!
