  1. My mom EWI in the early 90s. She married a US citizen but he passed away shortly before they were going to file for her. She was able to file a I-360 and got an approved I-601a. She has her interview in her home country in a few weeks. What kinds of questions will they ask her about her EWI? Her memory is not great and I'm worried they will ask her for details that she can't remember. If anyone went through the same process can you share what they asked about your entry? Thank you so much in advance.
  2. @randomstairs Thanks. She only remembers general things but can't remember exact locations of where she crossed the border etc. Yeah, I think the mental illness is only an issue if its a threat to the safety of herself or others right?
  3. My mom filed an I-360 (petition for widow of US citizen) and an I-601A (for unalwful entry). She has her consular interview abroad in her home country. She EWI, entered without inspection. She has a history of mental illness and can't remember the specific details of where she crossed, it was over 30 years ago, she just knows that it was without inspection. Will the immigration officer ask very specific questions about her entry, and is saying that she entered without inspection enough? If anyone had experience with this interview and this situation, I'd appreciate your help.
