  1. No I still haven’t heard from them. The interview was March 1, 2024.
  2. Yes that seemed odd to me too why couldn’t he just keep the passport and the CO did not mention that to him at all. He just handed the passport back to him and said they need to investigate more and to wait for an email. Then a week after the interview I decided to read the back of the slip and it said to mail a copy of the 221g along with the passport.
  3. husband got a blue slip 221g on his CR1 visa interview because it seemed weird to the consular officer that my ex husband was our sponsor (we are still friends and have been divorced for over 5 years). I tried putting my parents and a friend as sponsors and they all were rejected so I had no choice than to ask my ex husband for that huge favor and he agreed to help us. My question is what are the chances of my husband getting the visa so we can finally be here together and start our family 😔This was in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I’m a USC born here and my husband is Ecuadorean, never been to the US before. The officer handed him his passport back and told him to wait for an email. Didn’t tell him anything else. He kept our album photos, chats and money transfers. On the slip the instructions were to mail in his passport and a copy of that blue slip which they have received about a week ago.
