  1. Hello, I don't if this is the right forum or place to ask as I'm a little new here, but I'm a little desperate and worried. For some context, my mom is a permanent resident in the US. She also has a South Korean passport. She had her green card, but it was stolen from her about 4 years ago during the pandemic. We have not filed the I-90 yet (I know this is stupid, but there is no one beating themselves up over this more than me). We are unable to answer about 50% of the questions on the form as she doesn't remember much since when she filed it and also when she renewed/refiled for it before, other people were there to help her, but she is no longer in contact with them. I don't remember anything as I would have been either not born yet or around 8. Also she has never had a copy made of her green card. The problem is that she had to urgently take a flight to Canada after hearing about the sudden passing of her sister-in-law. To get there, she applied for an electronic Visa (?) to Canada with her Korean passport. However, she is now unsure what she needs to do in order to return to the US. I have looked though the forum and found https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/769286-lost-green-card-while-in-canada-i-90-form-questions-merged-threads/#comments and believe that she must either apply for the I-131A if she is coming back through the airport or she has the option of filling out the I-90 and crossing the border on land? I don't know what she should be filling out or if I should just call the Port of Entry that she is closest to and would cross as to what she should do? Long story short, my mom is missing her green card, we have very little information, and I don't know where would be best to contact or what to file in order to get her home. Please help me. Thank you.
