  1. that's the day of my interview, I do not know how it works but then why would they say on a recorded line that they forgot it? They can be sued for deceiving people right?
  2. so then why would they, on a recorded call say they have not sent the data? He also gave his ID! just curious, even on e-mail he said it has been uploaded on 21st march 2024. I have a feeling it is bullcrap but it made some sense because at the time of the interview they told me we haven't got your case yet!
  3. Please let me know if anyone has done it where there one of the visa was under administrative process and they used visitor visa to visit USA
  4. Hey guys! I had an important question! I want to know that I am under AP for more than 7 months now, can I visit USA under my existing B1/B2
  5. You never know what is actually happening within the consulate or these departments. There is no point of contact so cannot do much. USCIS gives you your approval by mail but they are also supposed to send the data to be uploaded onto PIMS which is like a cloud to save all the data and distribute it to the consulate. But they forgot to upload it apparently!
  6. And co-incidentally that was the answer given to me when they handed me the yellow slip that they do not see my file!
  7. BUT ISN'T IT A RECORDED LINE? AND MY CASE DID GET UPDATED BUT SADLY NO E-MAIL AGAIN
  8. Update: Randomly called up USCIS to ask if there is any issue, they said they have forgotten to send the approval file to the consulate in dubai! Do mot understand how can someone forget to send the approval after approving themselves!
  9. I don't think the consulate will reply anything other than an automated one. I am trying since 6 months!
  10. i've been doing these searches for a long time! I am coming across more and more cases but in most cases within 15/20 days of submitting the documents, there is some answer! mine seems to be a special case or they don't have time to process it!
  11. keeping this thread alive incase someone going through a similar thing replies
  12. Hey guys, I noticed a pattern wherein every time I email the consulate all they do is update the case last updated date. They do not reply to emails and it still stays refused. Short backstory - I am under administrative process for more than 180 days, documents submitted since more than a month. Case updated thrice so far but no email otherwise. Let me know if someone went through a similiar situation. Upvote1Downvote0commentsShare
  13. Thank you for the replies! Just tired at this point! got lucky in getting the approval in 6 days but got unlucky in AP!
  14. yeah and they are not even replying over the email. the case last updated has changed thrice but they are not communicating anything!
