  1. I would like to understand if my Covid vaccines that I receive outside of Canada will be accepted by the doctor who will be performing my medical examination for the k1 visa? Do I need originals of the vaccines certificates or copies are sufficient? Also do these vaccine certificates need to be translated, notarized etc? Thank you for your clarification.
  2. I just learned that both myself and my 7 year old need Covid19 vaccines ( done in the last 12 months) as well as seasonal influenza (flu shot) done. Does anybody have more information on this? How strict is this? Is there any flexibility in not getting these done and proceed with medical exam?
  3. Please let me know if children need to attend the scheduled interview? Our interview will be in Montreal but we live outside of this city. Thank you!
  4. Do children need to attend the consular interview for k1 visa?
  5. I have received a letter from US state department saying that my petition for I-129F has been approved and I was provided with Montreal Case number. I'm having a hard time understanding if NOW I need to do something (schedule interview, medical etc) or I need to wait to be contacted by the Montreal consulate in regards the next steps, and whether or now I should go ahead and schedule my interview? The letter simply says that the Consulate will contact me when they are ready to process my petition, but on the forum I saw a couple of members suggesting to go ahead and schedule the interview. Please clarify this for me. I dont want to waste time, if now it's on me to take action. Thank you!
  6. Hello, we recently received an update on our I-129F case saying the following " your case was sent to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address." So what does this actually mean, is it approved? Hence it is sent for visa processing? We thought it would say one of the three Approved/Rejected or Denial. Isn't it suppose to be sent to NVC? What are we to do next? and what should we expect in the next coming weeks/months? Thank you~
