For me they asked more evidence coz we didn't have anything yiu have mentioned here and my husband did not file taxes while he was living here. So we had to provide more evidence I guess. So he went back and got a job, apartment school for the kids etc to provide domicile evidence. ❤️ I don't think it will be an issue for you.

Mine got updated as refused again yesterday and embassy requested more documents to upload NVC CEAC online. Uploaded them today morning. 🥺

Got a 221g from Colombo embassy to provide proof of domicile last December. My husband went back to establish domicile and provided the documents last Wednesday. Got an email tht they have received the documents. Any idea how long it will take?? 🤞

I had my interview on the 12th of Dec 2023 and my husband is a usa citizen who is currently living in srilanka for the last 5 years.we have two babies who got CRBA and US passports. I was issued a 221G due to my spouses domicile and the police report i have submitted. I would like to inquire about the deadline for submitting these documents. Could you please provide information on the timeline or any specific date by which I need to ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted and what i should submit as he will be leaving to usa to get a job and get himself established in usa again .since there is no deadline indicated in the 221G.
