The embassy responded and said that she needs another form ds160 and she needs to go in to swear by oath that it is correct. Sorry for the double reply. I believe we will be able to get everything done on time.

Good luck and let us know what happens!
No repsonse from the embassy yet, but the case did update today 4-30. This is the first update on the ceac website since 3-27. Any movement is exciting to me lol.

As someone who has gone through a similar process, It takes about two months from the time the case is assigned to "Issued."
Expect many delays at this time. The Federal Government is experiencing massive RIFs, firings, and cuts, and it is moving slower than usual.
When you say assigned, what do you mean by that? It went from refused to ready around March 20th, so would ready mean the case was assigned?

You may have tried this already but I would try it again, and in the comments section, in the first line put "IMMIGRANT MEDICAL EXAM EXPIRING" and see if that catches someone's attention.
Ok. I just did, thanks for responding

Did you send an actual email or did you use the Immigrant Visa Contact Form on their website? If you didn't try that, I would give it a shot
https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/I did that back in March but no answer. Maybe I'll try again? Im just worried because it said excessive emails will cause delays.....

Hello! My fiancee is going through the process at USEM for a K1. To make a long story short, she was issued a visa last april but my son's was denied because of his need for a CRBA.
We got all of that done, but then her medical expired last August because of our delay. She retook the medical in December. The embassy then called her and asked her to write a letter saying why the medical expired and to send back in her passport and the expired visa.she did that then they called again telling her to pay the visa fees. She asked if she would need to do the interview again or if they needed anything else. The consular officer told her no over thr phone. We paid the visa fees on January 17th.
Her visa status changed from issued to ready on March 16th. The last update was 3-27. We are getting nervous because her medical will expire again on June12th, and here we are april 28th and still says "ready." It doesnt help that we just heard a horror story about a couple that has redone their medical 5 times already and it just keeps expiring. Should we be worried? I sent an email to the embassy back in March and they did not answer....

Isn't your son a US Citizen??? If so, he doesn't need a medical, he just needs his US Passport. I'm not sure about your wife's passport. I have not personally heard of anyone making it through Saint Luke's without a passport but your situation is kind of unusual given the embassy has her passport and issued the 221g for a new medical. I think you are going to have to call Saint Lukes and/or the embassy on that one. What is the status on the CRBA? Presumably your wife can't travel until that is fully resolved.
I apologize, I typed that wrong. Its only for my fiance. I just called St. Luke's and they told us to have her bring her postal ID and a photocopy of her passport, which we have. Thanks for the response

Why would you need passports for the medical exam?
The st lukes website says we need passports for the medical exam. They checked her passport in February when she got the 1st exam done. But can we just go to the medical exam with her ID and the 221g letter asking for the repeat medical? What about my son? He is 2 years old and his only ID is his passport....

Hello,
My fiance's visa expired after we did the crba appointment for my son. Now they are asking for a new medical exam! The embassy sent a letter requesting her and my son get a new medical exam. The problem is we sent their passports with the CRBA results and they did not send them back. How can we get their passports back for the medical exam?
-
Yes exactly.

So my fiancee was issued a K1 visa at her interview in february. They asked her to get a crba for my son and she was given a 221g. His CRBA was denied.
Im wondering if they will just give my son a k1 visa since he was already on the original petition? We already did his medical exam ds160 and everything else. The emebassy kept his medical exam packet. I emailed usatravel docs support and they gave me a case number. I have not heard anything about the case in 3 weeks. What do you guys think?

No worries. We received her NBI and it said december 10th! It was just an error on the NBI renewal web page.
-
Thank you both. The NBI website was acting really strange when we tried to set an appointment.
Anyway, let me correct myself. So the NBI form hasnt been delivered to her house yet. She went on the nbi website for online renewal. When she put in her NBI ID from 2022, all of her information came up. All information was correct except her birthday was 12-9 instead of 12-10. She went ahead and did the renewal anyway thinking that when they do the background check again they will see she was born on 12-10, and her previous nbi clearance says 12-10.
Basically we are thinking it was just an error on the website but when they actually run her name and NBI ID, they'll get the correct birthdate. Hell they might even just edit her previous nbi certificate and change the expiration date right?
-
Thanks she ended up going to the medical exam while her sister watched my son. They asked her at SLEC why she didnt bring my son and just do both at the same time. Go figure. Because on the website it said they needed two different appointments.
Regardless, it went well and my sons medi exam is this monday feb 5th.

My fiancee and I have a 1 year old son. Can she bring him to her medical exam? My son has a separate medical exam a few days later but no one can watch him the day of her exam.

Hello all! My fiancee's interview is Feb 20th, 24. Her new NBI came in and it has the wrong birth date, 12-9-94, her actual birthday is 12-10-94. Her old NBI certificate has the correct birthdate. Both the old and new NBI certificates have the same NBI ID number. Should we be worried about a 221g? We were thinking of just bringing both and explaining what happened. Any advice?

She went to the embassy yesterday. She swore by oath on the ds160. They asked her if she is ready to go since her medical exam will expire on june 12th. She told them that we already have tickets to leave on the june 10th. The consuelor officer told her that the visa should be ready within a week and wrote down "ready for travel" in his notes! Everything is looking good. We just need to do a last minute CFO!
