    Girl YES i drag him along!!! He doesn't always want to go cuz he doesn't want to be the only male.

    Right now I'm on this kick about us when we go to Jamaica. He says he wants to go hang out with his friends one evening.... and I say fine, but I want to go too. He of course says he doesn't want me around they guys. Well, I made a compromise... we'll go and i'll take his sister, cousin, mother or aunt and then I won't be the only girl... AND we won't even have to hang around them... :P We'll see what happens, lol

    in my case because im not much of a housewife.. roger does those things.. he knew what he was getting into.. we share that stuff

    but i TOTALLY spoiled when it comes to my TIME.., even tho he has met so many ppl here, JAMAINCANS TOO..

    maybe as he works, he will have more obligations and i won't have to feel bad when i have my stuff that doesn't include him :blush: ..

    Girl... I NEED to take myself out of his arm pit... I love doing everything w/ him. It was cool when he first got here, but after he started working he wanted to hang out w/ his new buddies. THANK GOD he only wants to once every other month or so. Other than that, he's always w/ me too. (L)

    jg..im gonna get as close to that 50/50 as i can tho.. PLEASE BELIEVE!!! most of the times he is very good, but when i see that see saw teeter just a lil bit.. i put on my sweet face and say.. BABY :innocent: can you ___________...

    Roger can be so loving and helpful, but at times just as selfish.. like if i talk to my mom for 2 hrs on the phone and neglect him..him wan get VEX.. WELL HELL i don't talk on the phone EVER so once a week for 2 hrs to my MOM??? u better shut the heck up!!!

    but its half our fault ya'll..

    we have to make them hold their weight from day one and not spoil them from day one.. then dem cyaan say NUTTING, but thats a lost cause for me now.. gotta just DEAL :whistle:

    That is so true Quana!!! I have spoiled my husband, but partly because of my culture. I do the what I've seen my female family members do... cook, clean, wash, etc. He does what I saw the men do... trash, cars, repairs. But I do like the fact that he does help out when I ask him to... I ESPCIALLY love that he makes the bed before he leaves to work!!

    My stepdad used to be a bodyguard for macho man, andre the giant and jake the snake... I grew up watching and hanging out wrestlers. Was fun when I was little cuz I thought they were HUGE celebrities... my innocence. :innocent:

    Ok ladies, I have a question:

    In Jamaica, can a woman put down any man she wants on the birth certificate or does the father have to be there to sign or put his name on it???

    Hello ladies... Hope everyone's having a GREAT hump day!!!!

    In re: to Ells post earlier, it reminds me of this "Everybody loves Raymond" show where Raymond tells his brother to screw up on the things that his future wife wants him to do, that way, she won't ask him to do it any more... and that will lead to a life full of him doing NOTHING around the house. That mess was too funny, cuz you know the future wife, Ray's wife and mother found out. It was a funny show... but it got me to thinking... do men really do this?? ACT like they don't know how to do something so they can get out of it????

    Anyway... will anyone be in Jamaica March 23-27??? (Negril area)

    LOL @ Quana!! Yes.. us talking about VJ made me miss mi friends dem!! We will start Dev's process in April. I pray it goes quickly!! I am so excited about us visiting Jamaica rather than me visiting him... Can't wait to get there!!

    philly.. roger still wouldn't take part if it was all men.. i have told him many times he needs an outlet, but he says he would never talk to another person about me or us, he would feel embarrassed...

    so alas.. i am left to hear the same thing over and over again if he is upset with me.. :wacko: im like you need a best friend.. oh i forgot, thats me.. :bonk::bonk:

    Yup! Derron always says, we're each other's best friend so that is who we should talk/vent to.. but of course we can't always vent to the one who makes us wanna vent, LOL.

    Nat: Thanks for the videos!! OMG... I'm so nervous!! Where do you watch the show now?? And when is the last show????

    I subscribe to TVJ at www.jumptv.com. It's $8/month. Hmm. I need to remember to cancel my subscription after the show on Friday night.

    The finale is on Friday. It'll be a 1.5 hr results show (instead of 30 minutes), followed by a concert in Kingston.

    I know Steven would LOVE to go, but he'll have to keep the celebrating to a minimum (and on the West side) since he'll be meeting me in Montego Bay the next day.

    Had I predicted this, best believe I would've requested my interview for Friday instead of Monday, so I could've been in Kingston & went to the results show. Oh well.

    I was just thinking if you were going to be there for the finale... Man! That would have been perfect.. especially if she wins. Which, I'm leaning to she will. Guess we'll see on friday.

    I'm going to have to subscribe to that. I'm sure Derron would like to see it (the station) on occasions. I definitely wanna see the final.
