  1. Yes! I got my passport Friday (9 February) evening (to my address). It was issued (based on what is on the visa) 3 business days after the official approval. So, I got my passport 1 week after my case changed to issued on the tracker.
  2. My case was a bit different - the CO kept my passport. It took about 6 weeks after they received my medical results to review and issue the visa. For folks that had to send their passports subsequently, it seems like it took about 1-3 weeks?
  3. Any ideas how long it takes to get tracking information on a passport? Or if they give one for drop off locations? I'm not sure if the delay is my fault - I changed the delivery location after the interview (as I was refused for missing medical results and got a 221G). The Visa was issued on Friday (2nd February), the embassy stated that my passport was returned to me via courier (yesterday 6 February). The initial delivery was to a CPC location on Toronto.
  4. Mine also says this -- my interview was on December 18th 2023. I got a 221g because my medical results were late (got there a day after the interview). My visa was approved 6 weeks after (2nd February 2024).
  5. My husband and I were able to get an appointment in Toronto for December 2023, and he made an appointment in November 2023 (to register the birth of our infant and apply for a passport for him).
  6. Nope, no request for my CV and no mention of being in AP. I guess I just assumed it would have been resolved by now, since it's been over 6 weeks since they got my medical results and they kept my passport.
  7. Just wondering if the following response from the consulate, which is an email thread where my husband sent a strongly worded request on a timeline for where in the que my case is, means they're doing more than just confirming my medical results. As a background, I interviewed on December 18th 2023 and the medical results got there the day after on December 19th(from TELUS in Montreal). The CO kept my passport. They've been responding with the usual "your case is pending review from a CO", but this one was a bit different. I've only gotten a 221g showing that my medical results were missing. Thank you for your inquiry. While we cannot predict when the processing of your visa will be completed, please be assured that the Consulate and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will contact you as soon as the processing is complete. We realize that these extended time periods cause frustration to many individuals, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the immigrant visa program is to facilitate legitimate travel to the U.S. Nonetheless, the Consulate in Montreal, like all U.S. Embassies and Consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law, and, in some cases, this involves extensive consular review and administrative processing. Thank you for your patience and cooperation
  8. That sucks for sure -- really sorry to hear that. I was hoping that I'd be experiencing a much warmer winter this year, too. But, I know nothing compares to an Edmonton winter. Hoping things resolve soon for you and your family.
  9. Similarly, I received a 221g because of missing medical results (which arrived the day after the interview on December 19th) and CO kept my passport. She made it seem like it would be quickly approved once they got my results (and I didn't know any better). The case was updated on the 19th and 21st of December. It was again updated when they responded to my email (2 weeks after it was sent) on January 11th. Here, they confirmed that they had received my medical results and that the case was in queue to being reviewed by a CO. I really wished I had come across this forum before - would have worked harder to get an earlier date for the medical exam. I'm really sorry to hear that folks have been waiting more than a year -- from a consulate that shares a border with the US!
