we have the same date of interview i already got my visa last May 21. I paid also April 14 donno what happened to your doc verification.

I keep doing the the trucking system of Delbros to know what is going on..... I did get answer last week but today i keep trucking but i can't receive anything.... always CONNECTION HAS TIME OUT....... is there anybody here has the same situation.... i've been doing it for 3 hours now..... i'm so tired of it.......

i know everybody is waiting for this document verification....... how much longer do we have to wait..... i'm really tired of waiting...... I though everything now is fast, why i still don't received my visa......

is there anybody here know, why NSO took a very very very very long time to send back the documents to USEM???

When i get mine in NSO only 1day BC and Cenomar 10 days.... now it took them a long time to send a 2 pcs of papers..... GOD Bless us and Hope you give us strength so we can still wait....

HELLO! Try calling USEM 301200075184 or 301200075185 - look for grace or lorraine. Dial those numbers directly and you will get connected to either grace or lorraine. Just tell them that you would like to know if they have received the results of document verification from NSO. Be patient with them. Try to understand them nalang. Good luck to you!

ARE YOU SURE WITH THE NUMBER??? MAYBE IT 301-2000 EXT. 5184, 5185..... IT THE 7 INCLUDED??? HOW CAN MY FIANCE CALL FROM THE US, IS IT 006323012000 OR HE CAN DIAL INCLUDING THE EXTENTION NUMBER OR HE HAVE TO WAIT THE VOICE PROMT????

I just want to know, If arrived in US with K1 visa and after getting married, what is next? Change of Status? How long will it take to get The permanent residency or Green card? And how about getting Citizenship? how long it takes? What is the different Between Green Card and citizenship?

I hope VJ members can help me understand this things...

After you are approved for Adjustment of Status, which you apply for after you are married, you'll get a 10 green card. You'll also need to get a social security number since it's required for tax filing purposes, to work and to get a driver's license. Two years and 9 months after you become a permanent resident, you can apply for citizenship.

it has been 3 weeks and 2 days since my interview and it has been 3 weeks and 3 days since i paid for that annoying document verification. my visa is nowhere in sight.

i called up the infamous ms. grace and informed me that they have already got the result from nso. she advised me to call them back again next week and not to make any travel arrangements yet.

the waiting is far from over.

I just want to know what is the number to call for the result from NSO.??? Pay my document Verification APril 14,2008 and the Delbros send it MAY 12,2008. I already finished my interview May14,2008 (yesterday).....

So funny, i call NSO, Richard DOCS. Verification incharge and ask him if they received it already and he say yes, Then he hung up on me while i'm still asking for information... really rude. The people working in Government are really rude... I really hate dealing with Philippine gov.....

I want to say thank you for this wonderful site, and it gives me all the needed information from the start. I also want to say thank you for my fellow vjers Gie, Maria Nina, Ana who have the same interview date with me. We agreed to wait each other infront at the embassy at around 5am. The guard start to call the 7:30am appointment and the four of us went to the waiting line, show the appointment letter at the guard in-charge. At around 6:30am we were inside the US embassy, wait for our time to get in line and get the assign number. After having the number we wait for our names to be called for the finger scanner. I was called at the pre-screener window at around 9:40am and interview with the consul at 10:30am. The interview with the consul went smooth. The lady consul was so nice to me and she smiled when she cannot pronounce the last name of my fiance. The interview lasted only for about 7 minutes. She said i can wait outside for my papers to be called for the visa delivery.

We were out at around 11:30am, and the four of us went to lunch together with Maria Nina mother and baby, Gie, Ana, me and my aunt Lalaine.

To all my fellow vjers, thank you so much for all your support and prayers. Also a special thanks to dbears.

I has my interview this morning, and the consular officer told me that they will just verify my documents and i everything seems to be ok. she also told me to wait for name to be called and they will give me instruction. Tha guy on window 37 ask me if i pay for my Docs. Verification i said i already pay it last April 14,2008 and Delbros told me that they just send it last monday May 12, 2008.... I'm worried if i passed or not. Then he also give me pink slip and ask to pay for the Visa delivery... But according to other people even though you pay, it doesn't mean you are Approved.... Just a little bit confused.

I want to know Where exactly, i will have the CFO seminar. They have 3 bldgs. The one in Quirino or the one in TAFT.?

What are the things or documents i need to bring? Is it the PDOS OR just the CFO?

How long is the Seminar? And do i have to bring my parents? I'm 23 years old. I had my K1 interview this morning. I'm just planing to have my seminar on Monday next week.

What is the best date to have the CFO seminar? I'm not doing anything lately, that's why i'm thinking of having the seminar before my visa arrived.

I need help on how to get Police clearance in china while i'm here in Manila. I work in Guangzhou, China for 8 months, My Fiance and i having big trouble on this matter. we email and call the US embassy in china to ask for help but the only thing they do is to pass us to different people and end up nothing. I hold a F Visa in China. I'm still wondering if i still need it and even i read the Reciprocity in manila US embassy i just want to make sure if it still active or valid about the rules that they don't give police certificate or police clearance to F and L visa holder. Please gave me an accurate Information and what to do. Thanks.

Manilla has this:

OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATES. Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present police certificates from other countries where they have lived for six (6) months or more after reaching the age of 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained

in any maiden names, aliases or nicknames ever used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of those names.
