  1. Basically want to know what "attestation" means. The attestations appear on a divorce certificate and school certificate. The four attestation stamps are from (1) Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, (2) Ministry of Foreign Affairs, (3) Notary Public Whole [country] and (4) Consulate General of [country] in New York. (A) That the document is verified by the attestor - the consulate verified that the divorce divorce and school certificate is real. (B) The attestor just verifies the English translated copy matches the original Bangladesh copy, but does not verify if either is real . Basically, verifies the translation is correct, but doesn't verify if the divorce or school certificate is real. (C) The attestor verifies the identity of the person on the document, but doesn't verify if the if it's real. This is like our notary service - you just show ID and sign the document, they don't verify the document. Someone told me (B), someone else told me (C), but neither of these two people speak English well.
