Hello! I'm currently on an H-1B visa (valid until 2025), sponsored by Employer A. I received a job offer from Employer B, but they have never sponsored H-1B visas before. Is there a scenario where I can get them to sponsor my visa? They seem to be open to working with a law firm, but I am generally concerned given they have no history or experience sponsoring visas. Are there any risks involved? I am also concerned about how long the process is going to take if they start now. Any insights or experiences in similar situations would be greatly appreciated!
If it matters, I also have an approved I-140 with a 2018 priority date.
