    To make it more clarified, im already a cofounder of a US company and i have shares in it and already working from my home country for that company, so my job is already there available and once i arrived directly i will take this job (actually more that i will continue taking this post but this time in US). And i already sent for the bonafide phase (i-130) files about shareholding agreement so guess they already know about my status. I chose the spouse visa path because i thought that it will be easier for me. So in conclusion my job is already there waiting for me and im using joint sponsor as extra help. What do you think ?

    What about If i have a job there waiting for me once i entered US. And if i send a letter from CEO that inwill be employed directly there. Should it be easier for me ?

    Even if the joint sponsor paid all the taxes 2022-2023-2024 ? Im trying to wait a little bit more because he might grt a jon soon so at least sending a screenshot of n email saying that they will accept that person for a job. What do you think ?

    Thank you for those examples, the thing is that my sjoint sponsor has nearly 7 digit number, its weird why they are giving section of sharing assets amd yet they ignore it in the affidavit form

    What do you mean by ignored, there is a section in i-864 talking about assets in case no income. And its feasible if it meets poverty guideline (5x) as im reading the intructions of filling the affidavit.

    Well logically no but in this case the sponsor should show his assets, banking account,…?

    Im in the stage of sponsorship (spouse visa) my wife already has greencard but cant sponsor me so i got a joint sponsor who is a friend and currently unemployed and she filed federal tax income last 3 years (2022,2023,2024), total income each year was $200k. Kindly advice if this enough for a temporary unemployed person to sponsor me .

    Hey guys, quick question. if my joint sponsor is unemployed now but already has income like $200K ( 2022,2023,2024) with household 5 (including me). Can this be an issue for USCIS ?

    My prior date is january 2025, still working on my i-864 files, th visa bulletin is February 2024. My joint sponsor left his job from 2 months. When is the ideal time to submit all the files for affidavit of support ? Does my joint sponsor without his job now can affect my files knowing that they meet the guideline poverty easily ? Can my files be approved even if my joint sponsor has enough money knowing that now he is searching for a new job ?

    Great thanks for the help. One more question, does uscis request an employment letter from the sponsor for i-864 ?

    Okey and if i submit my i-864 before 2026 from that sponsor, can USCIS also ask later for W2s 2026 ?

    Hey guys, i have a question. If someone left a job from like one month, can he still gets W2s form year 2025 from his employer ?

    But if she get accepted for rentry permit i guess she is safe to leave US to finish her phd then return to US permanently no ? she will do her best, openin bank account settle herself there then return to finish her stuff in lebanon before she go back for good. We can try to get proof that she will return to US and live there no ?

    She needs like one semester at least (6 months approx). She entered us for one week and left to continue her phd.

    If she will get denied she will stay there anyway. No other choice

    Yes m, “she” is my wife. And she will go like one month to do the biometrics of re-entry permit then she will return back to lebanon to finish her ohd then she will return to US permanently

    Ok thanks for the replies guys. We will see how it goes next week at the cbp once she arrives. Another question, we definetly need a sponsor. If she cant be my sponsor for this moment can we request a third party to sponsor me? She works anyway in lebanon and get salaries. Can she be my sponsor with that situation? She will also open a banking account there. What about getting her salaries and send money to that banking account to put moeny and make our ties to US stronger . What about that? Any suggestion ?

    My only question is does re-entry permit affects the spouse visa ? Or it can be done in parallel. And do you suggest to let her file for spoise visa while she is there or she can do it ourside US. And in addition we have war in lebanon does it make it easier and faster ?

    No she is going back before one year and she will apply it there. She is going to travel to US next week, her parents are already there and she has a home

    She even has proof for her phd enrollment

    My wife is under f33, we got married from 2 months and now we re living in lebanon And we have been like 6 years together and we have already proof for it

    Guys the history post was about my wife getting greencard process. She succeeded and got it last year january. Now its my turn to file for it.
