  1. So it's the gubberment's fault that ya'all didn't do your research beforehand and filed for the - for now - slower k3?

    You talking to me?

are you serious? how dare you say anything to us while we wait for our spouses.

you must be some sort of stupid, realize the whole process is backwards, you just got lucky and consider yourself cause you now have your husband with you

who do you think you are?

this site is irritating because of morons like you, with your head shoved up your ###

good luck to you in your life, your husband will need luck with you

    you don't seem too brilliant

  2. I aboslutely agree with you... All I have been doing is calling the USCIS directors office (Michael Ayetes) every single day and sometimes two or three times in a day to complain to all of them... My I-130 was there for 16 months without a single touch ... only after I started complaining there were touchs everyday, this week requested further evidence, we sent, and again called to coplaim and make sure they had received... Hey monday morning I am on the phone again complaining... since they do not care to read our posts, at least I feel a bit better of telling them myslef how unhuman and irresponsible their snale pace have been to our families... ( I actually got to know all the officers there by first name after been on the phone with them for over a month...)

It is not joke, it is sad, agonizing, disrespectful and simply ridiculous what they do, how they do, and when they decide to consider adjuticating our families life... This is not just a visa... this is our family well being, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially... as for all of us who are separated from our spouses goes through distress in all these areas...

I agree with all you have said 10000%...

Best of luck to all of us.

I've spoken to Jessie, Beth, Barbara, and one man who i didn't catch his name, he was as useless as tits on a bull

my senator takes the cake too, I wrote to him because he sent me an email, and a form to fill out so they can check my case, you know what he said, your case should be looked at in the next 4-5 months, I filed in September, argh, he was oh so sweet to send me something so very helpful you'd never believe it, you can't imagine how I needed him to do this for me

he sent me the priority dates from the uscis web site

    arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i am so ANGRY

but you know what they are all laughing at us, they don't care what we have gone through, I have three teenagers, these poor kids have never had a dad, I have been single since my kids were 1, 4 months old and I was two months pregnant, they have never had a dad, until now, well the past four years

but i have two boys and one girl do you know how hard it is to raise boys without a dad, and its not fair to them, they have waited just like me, but they are kids this is killing them, my oldest one keeps saying dad will never get here, we've waited so long. its been four years that we wait, because they messed with my case the last time and it expired

    they suck

    they really suck a lot

    immigration sucks

good luck to everyone , all of us that have suffered I feel for you

  3. i stand in the same page as you. thats exactly what i was thinking, its ironic for them to approve k1's faster than the spousal visas. does that mean the girlfriend can get to the usa faster than the wife? i dont understand that. i believe that the husband has the right to bring his wife wherever he goes. i dont understand why the uscis is approving fiance visas faster than spousals. its plain stupidity

Sasha no its not Ironic its more than pathetic that they are approved before us, we did all the steps we needed to take to get married, its not fair its so easy for them

  4. I had to add to this living in heavily populated areas of hispanics, I grew up with cubans and puerto Ricans, and now in orlando with a mix of everything.

I have to say a lot of people in New Jersey where I grew up never needed to learn to speak english, and they still don't.

I had to learn to speak spanish to get a job there, if not I had to travel to Manhattan

which I did, or travel our to other parts of Jersey where it was more american based, I come from the most densely populates city in the United States, its called Union City New Jersey, its right outside of NYC, we are on the other side of the Lincoln Tunnel

UC, has always been a big immigrant town, during the 40's til the 60's it was heavily populated European immigrants, but they learned english, they wouldn't be catered to

Including my grandparents they came from Germany in the late 1800's but they learned to speak english, the spoke to each other in German, but not to there kids, they thought they were given an opportunity to be here in the US they should learn the language

so to say UC, had Italians, Jews, Germans, Irish, Polish, and a few others but mostly those, after a while the cubans came and everything in our city had changed, the strange thing is there were so many that for some reason things in the city changed to the point where the signs on the doors were in spanish than english and you had to bi lingual to get a job

my mom learned spanish, at forty something, everyone in my family speaks spanish, all of my siblings are married to cubans as well as all of cousins, my kids are half Puerto Rican, there grandmother on there fathers side doesn't speak a lick of english, well she can say a few words, but she has lived in the same city for the past 45 years and has no need to learn english because everything she needs there is someone who speaks spanish

every american I went to school with which wasn't many speak spanish

so I guess its all where you grow up, I love where I am from I love the people I wouldn't have changed a thing except to get them to speak english it can only help them

Aikon is from Union City hehhehe you know the rapper, i don't know how to spell his name

but anyhoo, It was a bit upsetting not being able to get a job as easliy in your own hometown because you didn't speak the language , but we got by i got my first job at 13 i worked for cubans, it was a great experience, the owner of the place he as well didn't speak english and he owned half of my city, pretty damn amazing

    well thats all for now

  6. Something is wrong. It's too quiet. Yes, we have had one or two approvals this week but none of them were in turn or without an expedite. Nothing from Sept Filers? Nothing from October? Better yet, what about November. When are we going to see some real paper moving.:bonk:

I want to scream too, this past week my case was touched three times, my hopes were up, but then bam, I haven't heard anything new in two days, I think they see my case at the top of the file, claim they touch it and put it right back at the bottom of the pile

    arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh they make me crazy

you know what is really sad I called VSC on Firday, the woman was so clueless she gave me the usual line of we can't tell you anything about your case but they are working on July 30th, I said no they are on September 3, she was clueless, I actually told her how to clear her cookies so she can see the new date

well I helped someone from VSC to do there job, maybe that is what we all should do , help them because they haven't a clue

Good Luck to everyone, hang in there

  7. We are making our move to Florida late Sept, we have looked at a few places in Florida and now we are drawn to the Orlando area, I would be happy to hear from anyone who lives in or around here who can give me an insight to areas to avoid buying/renting...what are the schools like?

Or if you live in another part of Florida and love it....tell me about that too

    Thanks in advance!

    orlando is terrible

    schools are awful

west coast is much better, naples, fort myers, cape coral, sanibel Island, captiva island are wonderful ,schools are really good, very clean

  8. I have a home in Agadir. He won't need anything other than his ID to fly within Morocco. Have a fun trip!

Thanks for the info. Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do during the month of October in Agadir?

Agadir is nice, I stayed at a hotel right across the street from the beach, I can't think of the name of the hotel right now, It was near where the Mc Donalds, KFC , and Pizza Hut are on the beach, pretty sad huh

There is a Club Med there, but it looked a little shabby from the outside. have you been to Ifrane its amazing, and Fes , I stayed in Agadir three days i had enough at that time,

Where my husband lives is really nice too, El Jadida, it has a wonderful beach Sidi Bouzide, any way I don't know about in country flights, we always travleed by train and bus

    Good luck to you

I am hoping to go in October as well

Have you found any good deals? contact me, if you like

  9. I had my first and only touch yesterday on my husband's case- I was thrilled too just to see a touch- it turned out to be a totally unexpected approval ! I thought the approval was a ways off yet- hang in there -- I'm sure your approval will be soon. :)

    Great news, Congratulations

I know you're excited, I was breathless when I saw the touch, I was too happy

    good luck to you both

  10. Hello, I have lived here in Florida for the past 15 years, I lived in Kissimmee for 12 which is far better than Orlando which is where I have lived for the past 3 years.

The schools in Orlando are awful, my kids are 15 16 17 , they were all A-B honor roll until moving here, its depressing

really there is nothing to do, we call it BOrlando, we've been to the museum that is here, its so touristy and expensive, when my husband gets here we will relocate

I stay here because I have worked for the same company for the past ten years,

there are lots of gangs, its been progressively getting worse, Orlando in some sort of poll, was named the Angriest City In America, pretty damn sad

I can imagine, there is nothing but heat, rain, humidity, work work and more work, if you want to own a house, you really need to have two jobs

and for kids there is nothing to do, Disney but really how often can you do that, its expensive, the city is clean, but downtown there's lots of homeless, its a nightmare, and get this you are not allowed to feed the homeless, imagine that. you have to have a business license to give them food

I've been to Houston my sister has lived there for the past twenty odd years, she loves it, it seems ok, but for me I am from New Jersey, I would rather be back in my home town of Union City or Hoboken, which are both so near Manhattan but less expensive

    Good Luck to you

    Kathleen

  13. Is there usually an approval after a touch?

    fill me in, please

    Kathleen

If you have a history of 'touches' then yes, a touch often leads to approval.

    I hope so! Good luck!

This is the first touch since they put our case in the system, I called the VSC yesterday, but I have called them before and never a touch, but also I have someone here in Orlando , from my congressmen's office working on the case, so maybe she has done something

    thanks for your well wishes

    Kathleen

  14. Finally our case has been touched, its been since 2/24/08 so I hope the others who have been stuck in the black hole of that date will be moving soon too

I know a touch may be nothing but at this point it was wonderful to see a different date on my case

Is there usually an approval after a touch?

    fill me in, please

    Kathleen

from lookin at ur timeline, it could very well b that ur case is in its final stages...b prepared to hear good news soon :)...did u get ur paperwork together for NVC? if not, get on it now..

I hope this is it, and yes i've been getting together the paperwork, but I need to really get a move on, Thanks for your words and advice

    Kathleen

  15. Thank you God!!

I logged in to check the petition status a few minutes ago for the 1983476375 time today. Honestly I wasn't expecting much of a change from the dreaded May 25 touch date I've grown to hate. And I saw today's date on there. Nervously I clicked on the case number as I expected a silly RFE....but I saw the word Approved...and went crazy!!! I called my wife and woke her up. I told her to make sure she was sitting down and then I broke the great news to her. I have been going crazy for the past 15 minutes.

    NVC here I come!

For all those waiting and especially those who have waited a long time, let me tell you I know what you are going through. This is my second petiton as I filed for my ex-wife few years back. That first one was selected for additional processing and it was pure H3LL waiting for that one to get approved. It took 16 months from start to finish only to end up being cancelled days before the interview.

I sincerely hope each and every one of you will get the approval notice soon. Please know that you are all in my prayers.

Congratulations I know you are happy
