  1. @Redro Can thank you enough for you and this community as a whole for the response to my query and the relevant info. You are all rockstars cheers. Quick follow up for @appleblossom or anyone for that matter. How do you get an applicaiton for an I-130 updated so when the NVC sends the file to the embassy they send it to the UAE embassy instead of the Pakistan embassy? Should I do this ASAP or after the NVC receives it? I have looked and cant seem to find a way to see what the timeline is for the UAE US embassy to process IR\I-130 applications\interviews? Thank you all

  3. Appreciate the confirmation @appleblossom
  4. This question is for anyone who has submitted an IR app for a Pakistani beneficiary. Does anyone know if the IR (I-130) interview occurs in KArachi as well or is it only in Islamabad? Thanks in advance.
  5. Got it thanks @Boiler I dont remember there being anything on the I -130 asking if she has a residents permit or permanet residencey for another country am I wrong? Even if she does have a PR for another country I would think it makes no difference to her I-130 application except the embassy the NVC would send her applicaiton\interview info.
  6. @boiler Thank you so much for your response. Due to the embassy appointment wait time for Pakistan taking longer than the time for the I-130 to be approved I am with you it is a no brainer to move her app to the US Embassy in the UAE. Ill reach out to the USCIS and see about updating her residence. Ill share my experiences as I have updates to share.
  7. Of course. So to make sure I am correct in my understanding. With her being on a residents permit in the UAE I should be able to move her case to the UAE embassy. Since the UAE embassy doesnt appear to have the backlog issue tht the Pakistan embassy does then the US Embassy in the UAE should be able to give her an earlier interview date. Follow up question, I have already submitted her I-130 how do move her case to the UAE US Embassy? Second follow up question, her having a UAE residents permit should not have any impact on her I-130 application correct? I dont recall them asking about it anywhere on the I-130. Thank you
  8. a residents permit is essentially like a green card for the UAE i believe.
  9. Thanks everyone who responded with info I really do appreciate it. Follow up question if my spouse (who I am sponsoring) moves to another country UAE can we move her case to the embassy in the UAE and would that speed up the process in any way? Thanks
  10. Hi everyone Thank you to all who are taking the time to read the question and big thanks if you are able to provide any helpful insight\information. So I submitted the I-130 for my wife and currently it says that it states is the Application is currently being reviewed by the USCIS. I was wondering would it possible at this time to have my wife apply for a visit visa in the US and come to the US; additionally is she did apply and was given a visit visa would it impact the I-130 submitted for her in a negative way. Thanks in advance for your help.
  11. I agree, I am reading and re reading everyything including what I have filled in over again to ensure that nothing gets lost or incorrectly filled. Want to do this 1 time and be done with hopefully no kickback for RFE Fingers crossed. You guys have also been a great source of information and really am thankful for that @Chancy and @Ara Burton
  12. Thank you @pushbrk @Chancy the native langage is URDU which is based on arabic script which is not based on the Roman Alphabet. So I took your suggestion and uploaded the national ID card used in PAkistan which has her name and address in the native language.
  13. It is not roman letter based, so do you have any suggestions as to what kind of document would be sufficient? HEr passport? Thank you
  14. @Chancy I take it your comments about ignoring the section applies to both the "official statement" and the "native language" sections? I have attached my US passport and nat certificate, englsh language marriage certificate and US divorce decree. Thank you again for your lightning quick response.
  15. Thank you @Chancy for the lightening quick response and answering my question. I will plan to sign the I-130 and for the I-130A since I am filling it out and shes outside the US and leave my info out of the I-130A form. Thank you again.
  16. I had a couple of questions regarding a couple of sections on the I-130 and was wondering if anyone can share their experiences\responses with me. I am not sure what to attach for the "Native Language" section under "Other Information" I am not sure what to attach for the "Official Statement" section under "Evidence" section" Quick breakdown of my situation....I am the US citizen applying for my wife who is in PAkistan. Thank you
  17. You all @Chancy @Ara Burton are amazing for sharing your info and answering my question thank you so much. So just to confirm even though I am filling out the I-130 and I-130A for my wife (beneficiary) I dont need to put my info anywhere or sign it? I looked and I didnt seem to see anywhere where it asked for the sponsor (me) info. Thank you
  18. Hi everyone. I am filling out the I-130A form for my wifes I-130 app, she is overseas so I believe that I can fill out the I-130A without her having to sign it on her behalf. I have a quesiton though about filling out I-130A and on page 2 it asks for her parents information. However both her parents have passed away, is that an issue? Should I still fill out the information regardless of her parents passing? My other question about this form is since I am filling it out on my wifes behalf (she is the beneficiary) and she is not in the US she does not have to sign it correct? Lastly I have to fill out the preparer section (Part 6) with my info since she is not in the US and I her sponsor am filling it out the form on her behalf? Thank you everyone in advance who responds and I hope your joruney through this or similar process to be with your loved ones as soon as possible.
