  1. Hello everyone! I wanted to ask if anyone had heard of a case similar to mine: My expedited request was approved at USCIS for medical reasons. I sent this expedite to the santo domingo embassy before they gave me DQ March 8, 2024 and within 24 hours it was denied. I sent it again with my senator on March 12 and they still haven't responded to him. Since they had not responded after 10 days, I sent another expedite March 22 to nvcexpedite@state.gov and that one was also not answered. I sent a inquiry with the nvc inquiry form to the NVC to see what was happening on March 27 and that same day they sent another expedited request to the embassy and they still haven't answered that one! I was worried because to other people they keep answering that their expedite was denied within 24 hours but for me and two other friends they have not asnwered us in 2-3 weeks they didn't tell me anything. A friend told me that maybe that means it's approved since if I were to not accept it they do it right away and dont drag it out and for one of her friends it took 28 days to respond that her expedite was approved. What do you think? Has anyone had a similar situation?

  3. Please post up to what DQ date the embassy in the Dominican Republic is up to. I was DQ 3/8/24 and I would like to know an estimate of when I will receive IL. Also, do you think this time will decrease in the coming months?
  4. Does anyone know up to what date of DQ they are now? Is it getting faster or it is the same as it has been for months now?
  5. my expedite request was approved by USCIS then i sent one to the NVC right away when we got to that step and it was denied by my embassy in Santo Domingo. My lawyer said to resubmit once DQ because my embassy only approves expedites after DQ supposedly. I was DQ 3/8 (friday) and sent expedite again on friday. Hoping for good news on tuesday🙏🙏 anyone similar to me?
  6. IRS Website just download tour tax transcripts and that will have everything
  7. Hello! USCIS Approved my IR1 expedite request and right when i got to the nvc stage i sent an expedite request to nvcexpedite@state.gov (without being DQ). It was denied and my lawyer told me to send it again after DQ because US embassy in santo domingo only expedited DQ cases. I became DQ yesterday 3/8/24 and sent in my expedite request again, anyone have luck with a process similar to this and what are your thoughts on mine? Anything else i can do if the embassy denied this expedite again, ex congressman etc?
  8. Hello! 1 day later I heard back from my embassy in santo domingo and I got this answer:

    To Whom it Concerns:

Thank you for your patience. We sent your request to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

However, they cannot expedite this case.

Please note: Only the U.S. Embassy or Consulate can approve or deny expedite requests.

This case is now documentarily complete. That means the National Visa Center has all the required documents. Your application is now waiting for an interview appointment.

I Will send another expedite today letting them know i am now DQ along with emphasizing more the fact that USCIS approved my expedite request recently given the urgency of my situation and if they still deny that I will send it with my senator who expressed interest in helping me in this phase and contact the white house as I did with USCIS to get it approved. Any additional tips you would recommend?
