Hello All,

I am now relaxed to a great extent after getting our NOA2 for K3. Now I am thinking that can I collect the packet 3 and 4 from New Delhi embassy personally intead of waiting for them to send it. I have seen a case of Tripti and Parag last year at New Delhi, where Tripti(beneficiary) was able to collect the packets personally from the embassy. It will save time.

Therefore, my question is should I do the same or wait for the emabassy to send it?

Can we expedite at the embassy too for an early interview as at USCIS also we made an expedite.

I am waiting for your valuable suggestions.

We both have made it to this point and I am sure we will be able to cross every hurdle. It was our faith in ourselves, each other and ofcourse the most important God which has made it possible. Daisychain yes I received my I129F noa2 in my email. I am happy for the approval we got, but I wanted to pursue CR1 path. We relaised after filing the k3 and after loto steps that following CR1 is also not taking that much time. We can see so many cases recently(of CR1) who have got their interview date from NVC in a month or so. On the other hand K3 visa also takes that much time(though slightly less), but here we need to do the AOS later. In the case of CR1 we can avoid this additional step and save some money too.

Therefore, my question if we want to follow CR1 path then what can we do, as our I130 is not approved.

Today we got approval for our 129F but I am surprised that I did not got approval for I130. I have seen usually that approval is given either on I130 alone or to both I130 and I129F at the same time. Therefore, I am not sure whether this is good or not. Have anybody else has gone through this situation as of mine. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

I would also like to add that it is an expedite case as my husband had a severe accident few week back.

I am very tensed right now as my husband had an accident on saturday fracturing his nose and left hand. He was on his way to home, where he fell 100 feet down in a whole where some construction was going on. His left part has lost sensation. I am too much worried and want to see him and take care of him. I want to reach there as soon as possible. Please suggest me how can I able to do this.

DS-230 Immigrant Visa Package additional documents from the Beneficiary

1) 2 Passport Size Photographs (2X2 inches) of the Beneficiary

(Write down NVC Case# and Beneficiary’s Full Name and Date of Birth on the back side of both the photographs lightly)

2) Completed and signed form DS-230 Part 1 by the Beneficiary

3) Completed and unsigned form DS-230 Part 2 by the Beneficiary

4) Photocopy of the Passport’s Biographic Data Page of the Beneficiary

5) Original Birth Certificate of the Beneficiary

6) Original Marriage Certificate of the Beneficiary and the Petitioner

Original 2 Police Certificates of the Beneficiary – One from the Passport office (PP Office PCC seems to be optional now) and the other from the Local District Police Station

There are some more approvals with march NOA 1 from CSC and that too they are approving both I130 and 129F.

I just called NVC live operator to confirm the "missing and incomplete voice message". She told me it is because my IV fee bill was not generated and the subsequent generation of DS-230 form.

Touches may not mean a lot, but they can mean everything.

I’m a ‘07 filer, so don’t use my timeline, but ‘08 filers should happen faster than ours did.

We received a touch and a week later received letter of approval (NOA2). The USCIS website STILL doesn’t reflect the approval, HOWEVER our paperwork was past NVC and on it’s way to the Embassy four weeks later.

It’s hard to say anything positive about their website quality, but the touch does mean your file was checked in or out. So, something was done, even if it was only something simple.

Hang in there… I wish you all the fastest possible journey.

I guess they(VSC) is counting files and putting them in order to know how many files they have to work on with their BLIND eyes lol..may be thats what " all these TOUCH" mean

I think some one should try to call this friday to find out whats going on at VSC ...but you should get nice helpful guy on phone though.....i think guys give better answer to woman caller (my thought)

I called VSC on 5/6 after second touch ....the guy was not helpful ...he just read whats said on website with magnifying glass ...i think
