  1. Thanks for the advice, much obliged!
  2. Hi, Yes i did consult a lawyer through my previous thread, no real way as my father doesn't live there and hasn't for many years etc. So work visa/ green card seems the best option.
  3. approximately 1 year of work! No lawyer as of yet, hoping to do so without the added cost of lawyers etc, this is the first point of call to help find the information out etc
  4. Hi all, Im from the UK and live here also. My uncle is American and lives there. He is a silversmith and still runs a very small business doing so in the USA etc. He requires me to do some silversmith work for him as he knows my workmanship being part of the family etc. How would i go about getting a working visa which allows me to do so there etc? Does he have to file for it or can i do the work from my side etc? Thanks in advance.
  5. Thanks for the information. The 'VJ Immigration Lawyers 'on this site will have the answers!?
  6. Hi all, i'm struggling to work out my best way to possibly get a green card or the actual right to stay in the US. Please bear with me and will try to explain my case concisely as possible! I'm currently in the US for the first time (i'm 37 years old and a UK citizen) on an ESTA, which will be coming to an end early December after my 90 days of stay. My father and his brother and sister where born in the US, when they were all around 10 years old they all went to the UK with their Mother and ended up staying permanently there. All the children where given permission to stay in the UK indefinitely but all remained to always have valid US passports (i guess this is citizenship) 2 moved back to the US in there 20's but my father stayed in the UK and still remains there today. So my aunty and uncle live in the US still. Do i have the right to claim a US passport!? or some kind of permission to be aloud to stay etc... (as i know before i was 21 i think this would of been valid) Secondly and lastly, should i apply for a tourism visa (B2) while i'm here so i can stay for longer etc or do i need to return back to my country to do this etc... Thanks for all the help in advance. Louis
