  1. I'd like to extend my gratitude to everyone who took the time to respond. You all have eased my mind a lot.
  2. I apologise. I may have confused a B1/B2 requirement with a K1. I initially had my chartered accountant say I should have a minimum of 10 lakhs saved in my bank for the K1 process to go smoothly and I went into a rabbit hole ever since. I'm grateful for your feedback in this matter.
  3. Greetings and I wish the reader well. I am from India and my partner and I are yet to apply for a K1 visa after we're engaged in a few months. I wanted to understand if there is a minimum requirement for me as far as my savings are concerned. And if so, what is a good amount to have? This is in regard to most online sources stating that the officers check if the Indian applicant is financially stable to be able to return to the country. Any advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
