hi guys i had a question...

one of the main things u must provide is pictures with ur fiancee. we took quite a few of those - maybe around 15. but does it matter how close you stand to your fiancee in those pics? in most of the pics here on VJ iv noticed that the couples are basically hugging eachother when getting their pics taken.

because of obvious reasons i was not able to hug my fiancee in the pics but we are standing 'fairly close'.

does it matter???

I have a serious question about dennial of VISA, I had a friend and she was married to her husband and the guy is from NYC too, but the girl was still with her country but she has Hepatitis C they just found out lately, now they are in the process of their VISA application...

Im so worried about her if HEPATITIS C can cause her VISA dennial....

USCIS:

When a USCIS form is due to expire, the form and any changes must be reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). If a form expires while it is being reviewed at OMB, the form may still be used. Once a new edition is available, the USCIS website will be updated to ensure all useable editions are listed.

OMB date is NOT the form's expiration date, it is a date that USCIS has to compleate a review for Office of Management and Budget (OMB), this has to do with the paperwork reduction act.

i never knew this before...but i just realized that the forms have a expiration date on them. the G-325A available on VJ expires on 5/31/09.

since i just send in my application...it is before the expiration date but it will expire before my process is done...do you think this will cause a problem?

I'm having problems getting MSN conversations to print right/transfer to another program right for printing...

However, I have multiple boarding passes and flight itineraries from every time we've visited each other and about 15 photos (we have a lot more, too). Would these be a good way to prove an ongoing relationship?

I was relying on the MSN convos working, but I can't figure out how to open them to where it actually looks like one. Also, no we don't have emails because we use MSN and Blackberry Messenger so much.

wat i did was make a screencap of the conversation...i ran out of ink so i just got the screencap developed with my other pics

i left a few blank also ...!

guys im wondering how do you send in the additional file after getting a RFE

do you JUST send that in a envelope? what to label the envelope so that they know wat it is?

How did you send it? Through the post office, Fedex, UPS? If you have a tracking number from any of those you should be able to go on their website, enter that number and view the status of it.

i send it thru usps...yup i got a tracking number and checked on usps site but they not giving much info...i can also use the number on the uscis site?

No, that tracking number is only good on the usps site. When it's been delivered, it will show that on their website.

oh...this means it hasnt even left the state yet i think i can start tracking my case at uscis after the send me the NOA1..am i correct?

Awww...I bet they have it by Monday though!! You can track it on the uscis site once you have your receipt number....if you paid the $455.00 by check and they cash that before you get your NOA1 then you can get the receipt number off the back of the canceled check if you get them back. Otherwise you'll have to wait for the NOA1....

yuppp im hoping by monday they will have it ... btw which service center r u using mine is vermont

also...i already sent initial K1 pack....what is the next step? do i need to send anything else to USCIS or just to my fiancee now?

Now wait for NOA1 a latter from USCIS to tell u that they received ur I-129F petition.

Then after maybe 3-6 months u will get NOA2 to let u know that ur petition has been approved. That's if there is no error on ur petition or they don't need anything else from u. As of right now u don't need to send anything to ur fiance, beside gifts and keep the mail receipts for prooof of ongoing relationship. Phone call record can be another way of showing that u guys are in relationship. Welcome to the journey.

I doubt it. At worst that kind of mistake will delay you a few weeks while you respond to an RFE for the missing information.

you r making mistakes here buddy.. this is the easy part... once @ embassy stage... trust me ISL is not an easy embassy to deal w/=) they dun mind putting ppl on Admin processing for a v v long time=)

uummmmn you van add an affidavit from friends and relatives that you were together or spent time together. Any receipts of stuff ypou bought or hotel/motel you sent time together. The more you have the less they question ur ongoing relationship, wish you luck!

where i had to prove my citizenship...i only sent copies of only some of the pages. (i didnt make copies of the blank pages). so i will most likely get a RFE. i sent it in yesterday so how soon do you think they will send me the RFE?
