Of course! We got there together but they only wanted to speak to me and at first I thought that would be worst case… but the lady told me right away that the initial Application already had been approved. I think she just needed to do the yes and no questions and she asked me about our wedding day, my biographic data and some questions about us in general (where we live, if I have a job and my ssn) it was probably not more than 15 minutes and a nice conversation I really have my fingers crossed that you all will have the same experience!!!

Thank you! Yes that is right! I wouldn’t have made up a reason I was just worried that they wouldn’t like the truth haha but thanks! That is amazing that yours was waived! We we’re together for 6.5h years when we got married last year but it’s only 2 more weeks to the interview so I doubt that we’ll get it waived!

Hi everyone! I hope this is under the correct category… my interview is coming up and I would totally do it on the spot… I feel very prepared and love my husband so much that I don’t have any worries (and vice versa lol) but I have one point that I don’t know how to think about. I read that lots of people got asked who proposed and how the proposal happened. Our situation was that we just decided that we wanted to move on and be able to live together so we decided to get married (K1). I’m sure we’re not the only ones with no „real“ proposal but I worry that they might think that we just did it for other reasons besides wanting to live our life together… I hope this makes sense. Would you mind sharing your experience or whatever so I can start relaxing about this possible question? 😅 thanks a lot in advance! We will totally answer all questions truly but I just worry that they might think bad of this

Yeah you don’t need that form if you have a complete vaccination history and it’s all completed. Just copy your 3025 and add that and I added a letter stating that I had my medical done there and there and therefore not needed to do the form. You can also check out Yasmin on YouTube she has amazing videos which are super detail oriented -

Thanks! Yeah we didn’t get a RFE luckily so I will take that as a good sign! yes! I will literally bring everything we have haha but I would do the interview today and I would be prepared… I was just anxious about the medical but otherwise I’m just happy to (hopefully) be done soon -

Does this also mean that I don’t have to fill out I-693 at all? -

Wow thank you so much! I got really nervous 😅 -
Hi everyone! I really hope you can support me with your knowledge! I had my medical on 6/17/2024, entered the us on 8/6/2024 and we got married 9/27/2024. The PD on our AOS packet is 10/23/2024. So as you can see we were pretty fast (I don't want to brag it's just important that I give you my timeline for the question). Now with my interview for 4/15/2024 they say they want to see a medical if required. "If required, a completed Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, and/or vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted). Please see the Form I-693 Instructions for guidance on whether you need a complete medical examination, an updated vaccine supplement only, or neither." My question now: we send the form 3025 with the AOS packet and we send a letter that I won't have to do another one since this is what the rules say. But my medical "expired" on 9/30/2024. Now I'm very worried that I have to do a whole medical again or I do something wrong. Please advise me here 😅 thanks in advance 🫶🏻

Question about past relationship for fiance
Pase2323 replied to Ethan G's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
I am no lawyer but I think with this question uscis needs to know if the both of you are legally allowed to marry by law… like if she were legally married to her expartner she would need either the widower or divorce certificate so they know she’s isn’t already married by law since you can’t get married twice… does that make sense? 😅 I hope so… afterall kids out of legal marriage is nothing they don’t know and if you’re unsure i would write a letter and explain the situation but would probably go with no not married and single since it was nothing by law -
Hi everyone! We all know about the political circumstances and I’m wondering if more people are getting anxious because of the mass deportations? I am married to a USC and we filed for my AOS/greencard but a tiny part of me is starting to be afraid of the unknown… maybe I’m not alone with this and we can encourage each other!

I understand it that they need you to prove to them that your income is high enough to provide a family of 4. So yes it would be for the 4 of you.

Hello everyone I'm not sure if this is the right category but here we go... Me and my husband got married in September, and now I am thinking of getting our marriage acknowledged in my home country. I am from Germany, and if someone here is from Germany as well and got through the procedure (which seems very complicated), I would love to know what exactly I would have to do since I am not registered anymore in my hometown. Thank you in advance!
