I just paid the green card fees of $220 for my brother and sister who are going to come on IR2 visas and are 16 and 17 respectively as I thought you need a green card first before you apply for citizenship. I just now found out that kids under 18 acquire US citizenship automatically upon entering the US if they live with their US citizen parents. What should I do now? Did I just pay extra for them? Was it not required? What should I do now? Can it be refunded? -
