Not sure my advise will help but are you sure UA will require that far back. Did you check with the embassy in UA? I actually skipped the K-1 and found it more interesting to get married in UA so my wife will only need copies. Does you fiancee have residency estabilished in UA she can get a policy report there that should cover the required time and satify the Embassy. i have e mailed them with questions several times and gotten good replys.

Ron is correct: It took mine a good week but it is up and running. I would like to join the impatience too. Ron is also correct it's a minimum 4 month adn more like five with the holidays before an approval. I am biding my time by making sure I have all the other things in place for the next step. Good luck all.

Yes the guide is really good. Due to logistics internet, scanning etc. I was going to have my wife sign the DS2030 when I visit her. When we get notice I can send the form much easier from the USA. Does anyone have any thoughts if cut and paste the bar code or generate a bar code from one of the available site will work as well as the original the national visa center will provide? Thanks

Waiting is no fun but on the positive side. The fact that you are waiting for NOC 2 and did not get a Request for information it is encouraging. An RFI would definitely put you outside the norm. Congratulate yourself for doing a complete job on your petition submission.

Congratulations and don't be a stranger. Your experience can be of value to others along the way.

DS-3032 I just reread the form and for clarrification This can be signed and sent in by either the beneficiary OR the petitioner right. I know tell me it is a dumb question. Congrates

Sorry folks could NOT find this in the guides. How do you know you were touched? Do you get an email? RFI? Thanks in advance.

Great informtion because we all have the same question. I am not sure if there is a lack of consistency depending on the Consulate so I am playing safe with a few extra originals. There is so much time involved I will pay a few dollars for the extras. I have found it useful to get practical application here but also I am running a parallel checklist from the Department of state site and the local web site of the Embasey in Ukraine (for my wife). Thanks all!

Excellent Congratulations! Sound like a normal timeframe.

Sorry good information but a little confused on package IV. What is the VFS office? The way I read the NCS procedures you get you Case number and payment number. Second you pay. Third you get the Application and the package 4. The beneficiary has to have all the stuff listed and send to the NCS right? Then your wife also needs a complete copy for interview plus medical, plus a fresh police report. (Ukraine) Am I understanding all correctly? Thanks

Filed and got a NOA-1 in four days (10/21/10) However, still not able to enter and track on web site. I guess I can be patient since from the posts here they have 5 months minimum to do it.

I see some vj slang and sorry have not been able to locate a thread on it. Can someone tell me a what a touch is (something USCIS does to your paoers) but how do you know, locate or figure this out? Thanks

Maybe they took a break for the elections. This is really unacceptable. Poor e mail, poor tracking programs, and poor responses. But no problem increasing fees. Sorry folks had to vent.

Lots of Patience Thank you! This is very helpful. Appreciated your excellent input

NVC flow chart is dated 2005 so I want to ask a question to those that recently whet through the process.
My I-130 is close to approval and will be sent to NVC where they will process contact me. (Or I contact them)
My wife in Ukraine will have all of the information required by the Consulate for the interview. My affidavite of support I 864, medical, police report and a complete package of everything filed with USCIS. (originals and copies) What exactly do I have to send NVC? Can't I request a case number and interview or do they have some role other than that? What paperwork are they going to expect from me? Thanks for any information that you can share.
