Hello, Had my interview today. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It was on point and helped me a lot and knew what to expect throughout the appointment. How long did it take for your NVC status to update post IV interview? Office took my passport and said congrats your visa has been approved and returned all the documents. My NVC status is still showing READY and haven't been updated. Thanks much!!

DQed on Nov 1, IL received on Dec 13 for Interview on Jan 10. Finally!! Question: When you registered for the Embassy online account to select mailing address for passport which option did you guys select? I thought we already have the visa appointment registered from NVC?

You can book the appointment in advance. But not all medical places will let you make an appointment without IL date to avoid people keep changing their appointments time. i personally think its risky to book an appointment before getting an IL right now since there is a possibility of delayed interview dates due to holidays..

Yeah i think so too. May be because of Thanksgiving Holidays, they could be little behind schedule. Hoping to hear back soon!!

I lost my vaccines report. So i will have to take all vaccines needed for immigration. Can i do the vaccines prior to the interview letter? Or should i wait until IL and do it during medical test? i just don't want to delay medical results due to vaccines. I got DQ email on Nov 1 for London Embassy, so i am guessing from previous people experience i will have an interview sometime in January.

Got the DQ email today. Submitted all documents to NVC on Oct 24th. so took them 9 days in total to DQ!
