  1. Oh okay, and I'll need to write a letter requesting them to convert my case? Do I need to send it to my local one or? I appreciate your help I really do.
  2. It's been pending since December 2022, sorry for the dumb question but is there an extension letter form that I must fill out? Or is this something that I can just write? must I send it to the location where my case is being processed or on their website? Again, apologies for the dumb questions.
  3. Hi all, So recently me and my wife got divorced, I just received the final divorce letter. I have a fresh I751 form that I can fill out, and submit a bunch of photos + statements and holiday notifications etc. But I did read that I can add the copy of my divorce letter to my current case? Is this possible or must I fill out and submit a new form? Because all I can see on my USCIS page is Case Was Received and I don't see a divorce file etc, sorry I'm just a bit confused right now. I appreciate the help.
  4. Sorry to hear about the breakup, from what it looks like you still have a strong case as 8 years is a long time. Keep us updated.
  5. Thank you I appreciate the response, well. I guess all I can do is just be hopeful, thank you so much.
  6. Hello all, I would just like to say thank you to whoever reads and replies to my questions, I really appreciate you taking the time. So, my 2-year card expired February of this year, but me and my wife filed the I-751 in December 2022. It's almost been 1 year since we filed and my case still shows as "case received" Now, since then I haven't had a Biometrics appointment scheduled, I believe this was supposed to take place 6-12 weeks after? Is there a possibility that It's not a requirement for my renewal? again, sorry I am just a bit confused/nervous about this. My wife says it's fine, but I just wanted to ask if this has happened with anyone else and what the outcome was, did you have to contact the USCIS to verify? also is there a possibility that i could receive my 10-year card this year, or most likely after the expiration date of my original card (February 2023) I just want to hopefully try to surprise my wife with my 10 year card, I know this is something I can't control but what happens after "case received" once again, thank you so much.
