  1. Final timeline: San Jose FO 5-year rule Employment based. Application submitted online Sep 20, 2023 Applied 88 days before anniversary. Receipt notice / Reuse of biometrics Sep 20, 2023 Within a few minutes. Interview scheduled Dec 11, 2023 Interview Jan 18, 2024 Oath ceremony notice Jan 19, 2024 Notice date was 19th but I saw it roughly 6 hours after my interview, so was on the 18th itself. I am not sure why it said 19th even when it was 18th on the East Coast. Maybe USCIS runs on UK/GMT/UTC time lol. Very american. Oath Jan 26, 2024 San Jose does oaths every other Friday it seems. Oath ceremony is literally a drive through in their parking lot. Again, very american. People line up in their cars in 4 rows. Batches of about 15 cars are the asked to hop out. You listen to the oath, and all you do is acknowledge. Didn't even have to repeat the oath lol. Then you get back in your car and someone comes over with the certificate and asks you to drive off. Other than waiting in the car, was under 5min. Took under 30min in total. People were allowed to record videos/take pictures since it was in the parking lot. Guests were allowed. Certificate issued notice Jan 27 2024 I got my certificate right after the oath so again not sure why the notice date was 1 day after even though I saw it within a few hours of 26th itself in USCIS online status. UTC time lol.
  2. Had my interview today, everything went well. Oath ceremony scheduled for next Fri 26th, got the notice online about 6 hours after the interview. Was in an out in about 40min, the actual relevant interview part was maybe 5 min (test + few yes/no questions), rest of the time was just chatting about other stuff. They let me into the building 30min early and I was called in early too. Maybe a 5min wait at max.
  3. Things are definitely picked up on random it feels. For example I filed earlier than this person https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/s/HunBlFgC8g and yet got my interview later. Similar case. Same FO.
  4. You folks are lucky to have same day oath possibility. As I read my FO (San Jose) only does it every other Friday lol. So I would have to wait at least 1 more days and 1 more trip assuming I can get same week oath. I also read that rains can cause cancellations since they do it out in the open or something and Jan is a wet month for sure.
  5. That website is bogus and doesn't work anymore from what I have seen. Would recommend to just ignore it. It's been stuck on 09xxx whereas most have moved to 94xxx per some post I saw, forgetting where.
  6. I am also not getting the code via text. But I am getting it via email. I think my account for configured to send code both ways iirc. I did receive bunch of codes in bulk yesterday but nothing yet today.
  7. Ok the notice does use the name San Jose Field Office. But address is Santa Clara city. Maybe at some point city boundaries adjusted lol.
  8. Just got my interview scheduled for Jan 18th. No notification, just saw it randomly. It's at Santa Clara FO which I am not even sure how it popped up since there was only San Jose FO unless the address changed. Location on Google maps seems the same as San Jose FO. I am about a week away from anniversary date. My processing time also jumped from the prior 4 mo to now 7 mo
  9. Yea that is just weird. They atleast give a 5 weeks heads up just for an interview. Then potentially can take longer if no same day oath.
  10. Guessing it some automated end of month or start of month thing. Iirc happened Nov 1st too.
  11. Nothing at my end from SJ Been watching this FB https://www.facebook.com/groups/uscitizenshipwithugo/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT For my FO (San Jose) it seemed like they send interview notices soon before your anniversary, so their process seems to be taking at least 4 months for early filers. Weirdly though SJ has one of the lowest processing time of 7mo on their official processing time website.
  12. I wonder if for us process will slow down a bit relative to prior months due to holiday season. USCIS staff taking vacation, federal holidays etc. I am guessing if I as a Sept 20th filer don't hear back from them before Thanksgiving, interview ain't happening this year. This is assuming they tend to send notice roughly 1 months 1 week in advance.
  13. And today it went back, up by a month, so back to 8mo now lol
