  1. No i am from Lahore, but i have relatives in Karachi in Gulistan e Johar. I didn't want to reschedule it takes more time, but thank God congressmen helped me to get scheduled for 28th February now i don't have to worry and i can travel to Pakistan in march on USA passport.
  2. Few days ago, i have contacted congressman. Rendy Weeber online that i have to travel to Pakistan due to personal issue in the end of march and my wife oath is scheduled for 28th in Beaumont and i am still waiting for oath date. so if congressman can ask uscis to schedule me for oath on same date February 28th in Beaumont and today USCIS Houston called me on phone and told me congressman Randy Weeber contacted them and uscis have scheduled me for oath on February 28th in Beaumont. All praise to God. Sooo happpy
  3. we all live in beaumont, my sister in law last year had her interview in Houston and oath in Houston too, but my father and brother had interview in houston but oath in beaumont city, my wife had interview in houston on nov 14 2023 and oath on feb 28 in beaumont, i had my interview in houston on jan 29th and now waiting for oath. lets see where i get oath
  4. in houston they do ceremony at 2 places , one at gears rd and other one is in tomball
  5. i dont live in houston i live near houston in beaumont so my oath wil be in beaumont , my wife oath scheduling took 6 weeks for beaumont and her interview was in houston as well
  6. I have told all 3 country names. and you have to tell all names because usa did not fought with one country only .

No i never had h1 b visa. i had business visa then converted to green card , my employer sponsored me for job eb3 category. and yes and no questions which are on n400 application. like did i ever assist anyone coming to usa illegaly.. those yes no questions are in section 10. of n400 application. overall it was easy experience no need to be panic
  8. Today i had my interview in Houston field office and got approved I applied on September 21st online and and today ( Jan 29th) was my interview ,. I got green card thru employment not marriage Interview took around 25 minutes right after going inside the office, had to take oath of telling truth after that interview officer verified my name and asked for my passport and green card. After that she started the civics test 1st question : who wrote declaration of independence 2: name one branch of government 3: who did usa fought with in world war 1 4: when we celebrate independence 5: name highest court in usa 6: What Do We Show Loyalty to When We Say the Pledge of Allegiance after that asked me when i got married name of wife my parents are usa citizens or no how many kids i have where do i work and my job title then yes no questions from n400 and gave me approval paper
  9. My wife oath is on 29th February and my interview is on january 30th
  10. i dont know why but her interview came very quick each case is different , i came to usa 20 years ago so my file for immigration is bigger and she came to usa 5 years ago so it was very easy for her
  11. it depends on case, me and my wife applied together on September 21st and she already had her interview on 14th november and she got approved and my interview came late which is next month, it depends on each person case and which officer it goes to and how busy he is .
  12. @Visitor User i have applied under 5 year eligibility and i applied on sept 21 my interview is scheduled for end of january. and you cannot choose interview day or date,
  13. Because my green card is not thru marriage. I got green card thru employment and i have to wait 5 years to apply for citizenship. only marriage related Greencard applicants can apply under 3 years eligibility.
