  1. Right now the paperwork process would be like explaining to a person from Canada the correct way to use the word y'all. It is a learned thing taking years of putting up with southerners to understand. I am going to need help. I can do this, but not on my own. Believe me, it is much easier for me to learn how to operate a nuclear power plant, did, or program industrial machinery in an automotive plant, doing!! My hair is down to my sholderblades because I grow hair for Locks of Love and I sometimes feel like I'm agonna pull my hair out.

  2. My bunny, Beata, understands English OK. She does not understand the southern version of writing very well. I have been trying to explain what I need from her to send to California. If I can get the paperwork here, I will find a translator. Is there a place here or somewhere else which explains the paperwork I need from her in Russian? Can someone help me out? This ole country boy is doing his best but it I sometimes think I'm cold trailing on the paperwork when hunting for my bunny. This dog wants to hunt real bad. Thanks.

If anyone gets offended by my attempt to be humorous by typing how I speak, ie, southern, please let me know and I will stop. Otherwise, Ima gonna be me.

  3. Thanks for the welcome!! If I can get her here, the insurance will probably not be a problem. My insurance covers for pre-existing of new family members. It's the problem of getting her here that I am worried about. I am dealing with the US Government. The same government which was rated as a business with a rating of 11% efficiency. I worked for them in the military and as a civilian (while in college). In 1990, the DoD started their RIF because the government decided they were perfect and could solve any counties problems. They could not trust their own Civilian Personnel Service to handle the paperwork so they used part time college students to do this. We would not give out the name of the person/s being RIFed. Many were in the CPS. RIF means reduction in force. Unfortunately, the one's who needed to get the axe were the one's who stayed. The hard workers lost their jobs. It was better in the long run because they could find good jobs in the civilian market.

  4. :help::wacko: Let me forwarn you, I will be asking for help alot. I know about the $455 fee I will have to pay for the K-1, is that just for the Caliefornie assessment or does that cover the whole process, including the visa issued. Also, do I have to pay $455 for her chillin also. I gots to figger out ifn I gots to sell xtra possums to pay the fees.
  5. Ok, I gots to ask this question. Do I submit the paperwork on my own or do I hire an attorney and give him/her/it my hard earned money. How many of you submitted the paperwork yourself compared to hiring an attorney. I know most of the claims that the attorneys make as far as speed and easiness is false. I still will do most of the foot work and gather the documents. They only type the documents and pretend to expidite the process.

By the way, I hate attorneys. The bible does not speak well of them for a specific reason.

  6. A simple rule which my Dad taught me and it held true. In America, to get a job, you need to be currently working a job. It shows responsiblilty. Take any job if offered then upgrade to the job you want. You show that you are willing to work, you are eligible to work, and you are not lazy if you are working. It also shows intelligence to improve on your employment. When I was discharged from the military, it took 17 weeks to find the first job, and I upgraded 3 times in one day. Within 6 weeks, I had a good paying job from one of the best employers in the community. Find any job, work hard and be dependable, the good jobs will come.
