  1. Hello, I thought so too but they only accept the order in Japanese Yen and when we called they said they only gave them out in US dollars.
  2. Hello, thank you for your answer. I am trying to figure out to get that certificate but its proving very hard. I have contacted the japanese embassy in Sweden and Los Angeles and the Swedish embassy in Japan and no one can help me. I have been researching but still have found no way to send the fee in japanese currency to japan so I don't know what to do
  3. Thank you for your answer. 1. I did contact the municipality but the instructions they have given me (all in japanese) to pay the fees are to send them either postal money order or cash , but postal money order doesn't exist anymore in Sweden and it is illegal to send cash by letter. They asked for copy of my passport, proof of address and to fill out a japanese form from their website. And payment of fees of course. I or my parents have no documents except a copy of a japanese form that was filled out by them to report my birth but this is not applicable (as told by the japanese and American embassy). I have no other documents. 2. I am not sure if it is so or not. 3. Yes it does state my correct place of birth.
  4. I am a swedish citizen and got a 221g for the k1 visa. Reason being i was born in Japan because my father was working there at the time and they are requesting an orginal Japanese birth certificate. I have no way of obtaining one and have called every embassy and tried but to no avail. If anyone can help me in this matter please contact me. I was born in Kitakyushu, 2003 and both my parents are swedish citizens. We do not have any copies of a japanese birth certificate and I did provide the american embassy with my swedish birth certificate (personbevis 120 alla relationer) but it wasn't enough.
  5. Woho! Im so happy for you. Congratulations !!! 🥳
  6. I did this just now. So yes purchade the Waybill. Login to your account on traveldocs. Then go to delivery information. There you can choose between pickup or premium delivery. Pickup is the VFS option, which you can only pick up from 1 office listed. Its for free though. For the premium delivery. You select it , then before you click continue, you need to click on the link where you put in your information and postal code. On the post code window there is a looking glass, you need to press it and several post offices near your postcode will show up and you pick the one you want your documents to arrive to. Then you put in your card information and pay like a 25$ fee. After that, you need to go back to the travel docs website , still in the same page, and click continue and it will save the information. Hope this helps. You still need to pay for the Waybill
  7. Hello, sorry i keep asking you so many questions. I was just wondering if you know; i took photos at a photobooth and its 4 photos printet on 1 piece of paper. Am i supposed to cut them out to get each photo piece by piece or leave it? Appreciate it thank you 🙏
  8. Okay great! Thank you so much for updating. I wonder, did the clinic request something specific for you? And also, in regards to vaccines, I have lost the documents I received as a child when i got the vaccines in Sweden. Do you know if they will give you vaccines there or no? Good luck to you, hope everything goes smooth and well
  9. Yes I know its crazy...thank you for the answer. The clinic in Gothenburg is approved , so there shouldn't be a problem with booking there. I read the Oslo clinic website but for some reason the US is not listed as one of the countries they do medical exams for, so that's strange. But the Gothenburg website seems legit and since the Embassy website approves them I think its OK.
  10. What information do they mean? Can i ask if your case says ready from the CEAC status check? Because if so they should have your case file at the embassy. And also a week after your case is ready usually they give you a letter informing you what you need to bring to the interview and hopefully an adress for the medical. I have not yet gotten my case ready so I dont know myself; but I have watched a lot of youtube videos about K1 Visa. Also I have a question for you, for the photos you need to bring to the interview of yourself, did you take photos at a studio or do you think they accept photo booth photos? I've seen a photo booth called speed photo that does VISA photos, do you think it would be accepted?🤔
  11. Okay thank you for the answer I hope everything goes well for you and your visa gets approved 🙏 Good luck my friend!!!
  12. I am also wondering, I just got NOA2 but researching early. I live in Stockholm, what medical clinic can I go to since Sybillekliniken doesn't do K1 visas? I'm so confused...do we really have to go all the way to Norway/Denmark for a medical exam? That would be ridiculous. :( Please answer me if you get a solution.
