Congratulate, its feels like a Victory each time someone get the CPO email

  3. Yes, it would have been nice to celebrate having our green cards on Independence Day.

But I am celebrating anyway, you know why?

Because good news has been slow, slower for some than others (mvn910) but all we have been hearing is good news lately.

I am so very happy to be here in this country, hopefully you guys are too, surrounded by the new families and friends we have created in this great place.

    Happy 4th of July everyone!

100% agree with you, the only hassle I have is do to my international flight(s) that to have to spent 1 to 2 hour at the imigration at the airport upon returning for passport stamp verification. I have a new international trip comming up around 20 July, hopefully with the 10YGC.

  4. Congratulations to mvn910!!!!! That took for ever!!!!!! What in this world they were waiting for??? I hope that same officer does not have my case!!!! God!!!!

I have a peculiar story to tell, I just came back from my infopass... went quickly. I went with a friend of my which she is also removing conditions with the difference that her case is worse is the second year she has to go to get a stamp, since she got a RFE on DEC 2006 and on 2007 (march she send the new package) but when she went last year for her infopass they told her that since she has not even got the interview from AOS (she came with green card from Uruguay... complicate case) her case is still pending. But well this is not the point, the point is: that they called her first today and then another lady called me (which I have to say that it was a really nice lady) she asked me about my case, I told her; she told me she had no access to Vermont system so she could not see anything but knowing that they had transfer my case to Vermont on FEB 1, and that they update my biometrics on Feb 25... Then she told me she will call my name to stamp my passport. A few minutes later my friend came and they told her that they could NOT give her a stamp because her last stamp expires on August 20 and they only give out stamps within 30 days of the expiration of the last one and that she has to come back after July 20th. I was already thinking that the other lady would tell me the same. When she called me, she gave me the stamp right away.... believe it or not my NOA expires August 28 and my friend's August 20... SO THE SAME DAY, SAME AGENCY, SAME HOUR, SAME PROBLEM, THEY GIVE THE STAMP TO ONE AND TO THE OTHER ONE NO. So everything is luck..... I just hope that a fast nice officer has my case in Vermont.

This basically supports my belief that the system is seriously F'ed up.

your future and mine depends on the mood of the person dealing with your file, that persons interpretation of their job, and plain good old fashion luck of the draw.

    comforting isn't it?

I have lost my excitement about one day in the near future an email from CRIS will pop up in my inbox; I will have my passport stamp July 10, anything else in up in the blue.

  7. BBAN:

well, since you show me how I can look at same other cases I have been....

my NOA ends with number 16... about a week or so I checked and I told you that the only number before or after me approved was 15 on June 14. well I checked same of the numbers today and I discovered that, number 14 was approved today July 1. Number 09, was approved yesterday June 30. Number 19 was approved June 24. Number 23 was approved yesterday June 30. Number 25 was approved today July 1.

At least some kind of movement... Lucky this people....

That should mean that you are very close to approved, maybe you are next!

how do you check these numbers? when i add or subtract a number from my 63 it shows other types of petitions (i-131). I really hope we will be done this week.

Add or subtract numbers until you find next CR189

  8. after my approval I am going to need same profesional help, this is damaging" LOL!

Ailin, I keep thinking that as soon as you get your approval, the shock of it all will send you into labor. How much longer until you have your baby?

I am 29 weeks today exactly.... too many emotions for my pregnancy.... where is my approval??? I am making an infopass today... hopefully I will received something before it so I don't have to go. Something is for sure as soon as I get the stamp I will go to the Social Security dep to get my new Social.... (something good out of all this inconvenience)

By the way Staashi I love the Mafalda little cartoon.... she is funny! :) and realistic...

OK! so I just did the Infopass I am going on Wednesday July 2... YES you heard correctly! next Wednesday... You think I will have a surprise by July 4th.,..???? mmmmmmmmm... will see....

I also wrote letters to the Senators, but I have not sent them yet... I don't know ... I feel like if they are not going to resolve anything.. I may wait until after my appointment to sent them out....

Of cource we will have good news by July 4. The Senator can only help if you are outside the process time (I have tried that already).

  9. I'm seen approvals processed last week and today with application number only a few number away from my application number,, I guess that's good news.

BBAN.... why? what are these NOA numbers???? tell me I need same relief even If it is not true?!

    Hi Imalin,

My application receipt number (SRC07 etc.) and end's on xx (two last digits), so I just look up number close to my number's. For example if your number end on 40 look up all number from with last digits from 01 to 50 (and look for application type CRI89).

Thanks BBAN!!! I did and this is what I found out :

my case ends with 16.... so, number 15 was approved on June 17, and number 12 was approved on June 19... but everything in between and after (up to #18) still waiting!!!!!.... so I don't think it has something to do... I truly believe that we are both on hands of a lazy LAZY LAZYYYYYYYYYYY officer who does not care or work.... for what??? He is getting paid anyhow and our approvals does not affect him on anything.... one or two less or more immigrant do not make a difference for him.... He is just lucky I don't know him!!! Get to work you Lazy #######!!! I paid your salary 382 days ago!!!!!! I WANT MY APPROVAL BEFORE JULY 4…. BECAUSE THAT IS A LOST WEEKEND….. IN WHICH THEY DO NOT WORK.

Ok, let's ""plan"" for approvals before the week of July 4,

  10. I'm seen approvals processed last week and today with application number only a few number away from my application number,, I guess that's good news.

Sorry for your name misspelling: Imailin

  12. I contacted the Congress man, and the respond I got today was: they are currently processing applicant from April 1, please allow approx. 90 days,,,, not any surprising news. I know it will take less time so another 4 weeks or so.

Heh, we actually got a letter yesterday from our other senator -- the one we hadn't heard boo from -- telling us that in response to our request for help, he had inquired with CIS and was happy to tell us that we had been approved on May 16 and should receive the card within 30 days. Thanks for nothing, pal!

Tomorrow is my year aniversity NOA!!!!!!!!!! Happy aniversity to us!!!!!!!!!!! NIce! so meaning that if I dont hear nothing from USCIS I will write to the Senator on Monday...... and If I dont hear anothing from them, I will call Immigration and if I dont hear nothing from them.... I will have to in person to immigration!!!!!!! but something is going to get done!!!:angry::angry::angry::angry::devil:

In my request to our congress man I listed all obvious reasons for why pending processing of removing conditions is delaying our start of normal family life in the US. It did not attract USCIS attention so and as long as we are inside the posted process time (April 1) so there is not much else we can do then wait and hope that it will be processed at any time.

So what I have learned out of this , just wait until you are outside the process time then USCIS and the congressman will take action, until that time, site back and enjoy the ride!

Congratulations! You have definitely waited your turn (unlike all the 2008 filers who scream about having to wait 3 months already....). So the 2-25 folder seems to be closing on us. On to 2-26 pretty please!

thank you baunzerbrudi! Good luck, yours should come soon too.

Congratulations! This is very good news!! Who is next??
