  1. Hello everyone, my wife has her CR1 interview at the US embassy in late October. She was living in India until this year, when she moved to the UK and had her case transferred here as well. We were told by our lawyers that she won't need a police certificate for any countries she lived in for less than 6 months, which currently includes the UK. However, we noticed that the medical exam has the following requirement: This requirement does not seem to have the stipulation that you need to have lived in the country for at least 6 months! Our concern is that the certificate may not arrive in time for the medical exam, which needs to be done before the interview itself. Does anyone know if the ACRO requirement is waived if you haven't lived in the UK for 6 months yet? Or if she could perhaps just take her Indian police certificate that she provided to NVC? Or if she can attend the medical exam and just submit the police certificate later when it comes?
