  1. Same here. The submission “workflow” still feels half-baked. There’s no email confirmation for the filing or the fee payment, and without a receipt number the online inquiry system is useless at the outset. I’m assuming the holidays (and the usual bureaucratic entropy) are contributing to the delay. That said, the published processing time is 24–29 months, which is… impressive in the worst possible way.
  2. I had this issue when trying to re-scan things and insert pages etc. I fixed the issue by starting a fresh document, filled everything except the signature prompts and printed it all out in one go via my laserjet. Signed things as needed, and then scanned to one pdf document and it was accepted. I have an older Brother laserjet DCP-L240DW that had scanning problems until I a fresh install of all the drivers/utilities which then also allowed me to flash the bios to latest/greatest. That solved all the scanner hangs etc. I might suggest you go to a mail and more or whatever and have them scan the document to a single pdf file for you.
  3. I just submitted my wife's 751 and supporting documents online today (12/29/2025). There was a glitch where it did not like my stitched together 751 pdf. I was forced to solve a technical issue of scanning with a bios upgrade to the printer. Scanned and re-uploaded the doc and it passed initial tests and was accepted to be reviewed.
  4. I was the referenced person the OP noted in this thread. I just got my CR-1 approved in Feb. (Bangkok). I got the same email as the OP and it was the first time anything was mentioned about the petitioner having to submit original or court certified copies of marriage certificates. I never saw this requirement in any of the instructions anywhere. I did not have the time (I was in Thailand at the time) to try to locate my old marriage docs so I pretty much ignored this one-off request. I did of course supply original or certified copies of my divorce. It did not become an issue and was never requested again. I think that it is a poorly crafted email and is not an official requirement per se.
