  1. Absolutely. I intend on quitting 1 job and increasing hours at my other to make up for it while I look for something that ultimately pays better. (I've been saving up to start my own business for the past couple of years as well, and intend on starting that when my wife gets here and we get her settled in) My current income wouldn't change too drastically. For my spouse, she'll be going on my current health insurance. I'm just asking if it won't negatively impact her being accepted into the U.S. for some reason if I decide to do this. I wouldn't be considering this if it weren't for this current job to be driving me crazy lol
  2. No I am under the poverty guideline despite having two jobs. My father makes much more than enough however. I assume this means I can't quit one of my two jobs? Even though together we have more than enough money
  3. Hello, my wife and I are apply for my wife to immigrate to the U.S. under a CR1 Visa. We are currently waiting to recieve our embassy interview date. I am a U.S. citizen, and she is from the Netherlands. I am the petitioner and the Sponsor. My father signed the i-864a. I currently have two jobs, and one of them I'm wanting to quit. My question for all of you is. Can I quit my job without negatively impacting my wifes ability to immigrate here? If I quit my job, do i need to communicate that to the government, and if so how? Honestly this job is driving me a bit insane lol. Thank you for your time.
  4. My wife is going through the process of immigrating to the U.S., we recently submitted a Police Certificate to CEAC. Everything else was accepted. CEAC stated that the Police Certificate is unreadable and rejected the document. I had double checked the document before uploading, and even after the rejection. The document is perfectly readable and in a file format that should be perfectly acceptable (.PDF). We submitted an inquiry via the email system and are awaiting a response, but the last time we did this they just gave us an automated response that didn't answer any of our questions and we are afraid this may happen again. We also tried calling, but were told through an automated answering machine that the phones were shut down so they can focus on finishing peoples documents. Has anyone had similar issues or can anyone offer a solution? Thank you all in advance!
  5. It was not a joint tax return. Thanks for the heads up. Just tried it twice though and it told me that "something went wrong" during my passport uploading three times. I'll try again tomorrow I think. It seems that way lol
  6. The one I have is only from turbo tax and the w-2's that came directly from my employers. I suppose I have to contact the irs and request my taxes from 2022?
  7. Where would I get this statement of my tax return? or would I just write it myself? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just frustrated with the situation and I just hope I can get it right this time around.
  8. I have no 1099, and I submitted both of my W-2's (I have two jobs). All together I submitted both of my W-2's, Form 1040, and Schedule 2 (all for the year of 2022)
  9. I have submitted the entire tax return that I recieved from Turbotax. It includes the 1040 and the schedule 2 and nothing else.
  10. Hello everyone, I recently received a message from CEAC/NVC stating that for I need to "submit every 2022 schedules form". However I have already submitted my Form 1040 and my Schedule 2. I was hoping someone could explain or provide me with suggestions for a course of action. Thank you all in advance!
