  1. We just received an email to come for a pre-interview also. It was scheduled for the same day as my husband’s medical exam so he had to hurry and reschedule the medical and labs. Is everyone in Costa Rica doing a pre-interview? Is it only certain people? This is all so stressful.
  2. Hi, did you get your interview date? We just received ours for January.

It's been exactly 3 months and a half for us. I'm hoping to get it soon. Noted, I'll start gathering those. Thank you!

They would let you know step by step what comes next after you get the IL. Hopefully January you will get news. Finger crossed!

We just had our pre-check interview, we weren’t aware they were doing that so it was a surprise. Everything went well, we had to reschedule the medical to get in done in time but luckily it all worked out! Congrats on getting your date!

  3. I see this on Boundless: Once the initial application is approved, USCIS sends it to the U.S. Department of State, which will handle the rest of the process, including the interview. The applicant’s local U.S. embassy or consulate will notify the applicant about the date, time, and location of the interview and what official documentation to bring. The notification is usually sent within 30 days of the application’s approval, while the interview will generally take place four to six weeks after the embassy or consulate’s initial notice. https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/k-1-visa-interview-explained/
