We dont have an interview schedule yet..... waiting for the packet. My fiance' will be flying to Philippines in April 26th and will stay for 50 days. We will be spending 3 days in Manila and fly to Cebu and stay for the rest of the 50 days unless if we will have my interview within. Im sure I will have my packet by then but nobody knows when will be my medical and interview date til it arrives. My question is, is it possible to have my medical in advance to the date to what it says in the packet? Im thinking it would save us money if I can have my medical during our 3 days in Manila. I dont like the idea of having a week gap from medical exam to the interview date... it is pretty spendy to stay in Manila but I know I have no choice.

My fiance' will be flying to Philippines in April 26th and will stay for 50 days...so we are thinking maybe he can be with me during the interview at the Embassy. Im sure it would be a plus to have him with me during the interview. I was chatting with him yesterday and we were asking possible questions from the consulate to each other and I have perfected mine and he only answered 5 out of 10 questions. He cant remember the date when we got engaged, he cant remember our first email and it took him too long to answer me how many time we have met and when he first came to Philippines...it worrys me and I think it would be better if I will be alone during the interview but will let him go with me inside the Embassy...what do you think folks?

Hello Vj'ers! Can my fiance' come with me during the interview at the Embassy? As in he will be right beside me during the interview?

We received our official letter from the NVC today. It was dated Feb 20, 2008. It states that they created a case record with our petition information and that they will then send the petition to the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines within a week. Is there a way I can track my case after NVC? Please help... just getting excited...like you ;-)))

Hello! Im new here and thought where I could ask for some advice.

I received a NOA2 on Febuary 26th that stated they have approved my petition on Febuary 11, 2007 but when I check my case status online at USCIS web it still says pending....do I need to worry about this? Should I call USCIS and make sure they have forwarded my papers at NVC? because a friend told me that it will appear pending til they have forwarded the docs at the NVC.
