  1. I'm having one of those days where I feel like this is just NEVER going to happen. One NOA2 per day makes for a loooooooooooooong wait. I'm trying to stay busy, working extra hours, lots of gardening, lots of dog walking, planning dinner parties... but sheesh, I still turn to the computer every morning and every evening hoping for some sense of progress, but it just aint happening.

I don't mean to be a downer, just looking for a little pick me up, I suppose from those of you who I know have felt the same thing. I know we are getting close. I know the next two weeks will show some light at the end of the tunnel. I know it. But its hard to keep saying it over and over and over.

Alright CSC, here we go! Let's get pumped up for a great Tuesday... everyone, start drinking those coffees...

Oh well, we moved another spot as a January 15 filer has been approved.. Congrats to them :D (and yay for us hehe)
  2. Happy Thursday everyone!

It is SO wonderful to see all these approvals every morning when I wake up! I do find it interesting that they haven't seemed to have broken through that Jan 15th mark. Do you think its intentional? Maybe they have made a conscious effort to wrap up all the '07 files before moving too deep into January?

I wanna see some LATE January NOA2'S!!!!! Like MINE and Blake and Steph&Gareth and Levi&Heather. I vote for Blake's projection that by the end of next week Jan's are at 70%. That sounds lovely!

  3. HOPING, HOPING, HOPING, HOPING!!!!!

If only those mail carriers could walk a little faster! Let us know as soon as you hear anything!

And shes, my timeline is the same. No touch since I filed on Jan 24th. When I log into the USCIS site, the date that is listed is Jan 31, a couple days after the NOA1 was sent. I assume that was the day my petition left for the file box - where it has yet to emerge.

  4. It's true. The CSC has been actually active these last couple weeks which has been a HUGE relief to those waiting for several months. They seemed to have taken a nice long vacation for pretty much the whole month of April, which was stressing everyone out. But like I said, the past two weeks have shown a lot of activity and has been very encouraging.

That said, the VSC still pumps out NOA2's about twice as fast as California. There are rarely cases of the CSC doing a 90-day approval (except in the case of expedites or Cuba petitions) so I wouldn't get too hopeful for that one. The standard response is "be prepared to wait 6 months for your approval." It will probably be less, and you can keep track of current progress by checking Igor's list to see who from VJ has been approved that week. That is how I always keep track of my estimates.

The average numbers as of today say NOA1 to NOA2 at CSC is 141 days. NOA1 to NOA2 at VSC is 78.

    Igor's list is here: http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

    Good luck to you!

I have noticed recently that my projected ajudication date on my timeline seems to be dropping. It has gone down almost 10 days in the last couple weeks. Has CSC suddenly started to pick up the pace? I am not complaining!!! It would be great if they got everybody approved in 90 days or less! I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this?
  5. It would seem fitting that you have an approval right around the corner. You have four folks who filed right before you and two folks immediately after you who all have NOA2's. I PRAY this is your lucky week!

Keep us posted!

I just checked our file and we got a touch today!!!!!!!!!!! I pray it means something good. LoL Anyway I'm still praying for everyone else on here. I also want to say thanks to all of you for everything so far! :)
  6.  A big, BIG, congrats to you both!!!

Like it or not America, the USIC decided they liked what they saw on our application and have most graciously allowed me to join my darling lady in the US. Obviously we have lots of steps still to take, and right now I am shaking so hard I can hardly type.

For those out there still waiting for their NOA2 - Guys please hang in there. It might be slow, expensive, mysterious, but it does happen

  7.  Congrats to you both!!!

Don't forget to update your timeline so you can be added to those approved in May!

Thanks everyone! It has been such a journey thus far, so many nights crying and feeling lonely without the love of my life and now we can see the end in sight. We have alot of work ahead of us but we are praying it will go smooth and fast and we can be married this summer. Our original wedding date was end of June so we are thinking backing it up to the day we met, August 6th.

I hope those still waiting get notice soon!!

  8.   Congrats psychedelik!

    Man, we are ON FIRE!!

How am I doing? Just found out i was touched once yesterday and then again today. Some movement.

Two touches? I'd be checking the USCIS website on the hour if I were you - sounds like an approval is right around the corner.

Hard Copy NOA2 RECEIVED 5/10!!

Turns out it was approved upon the second touch - appx. 2 months ahead of the VJ estimate. It may be YOUR turn any time soon.

    The journey continues...

  9. OH MY GOSH!!! Rachel, CONGRATS!!!!

I've been watching your timeline for so long! I'm thrilled for you! I'm sure Cecile and the other earlier January folks are well on their way as well. (I also send a little thought out to those from December and before every day as well.) In the meantime, a HUGE congrats to you and Alex. Let the wedding planning begin!

    -Courtney

    I can't wait, either!

Yes; I've checked with my parents and they say a December wedding is fine with them, so December it shall be! Plus since it'll be near Christmas (as I'd like to get married in the Christmas hols so my little brother and sister don't have to have time off school) it might actually end up being easier for all of Alex's relatives, as they get together every Christmas anyway.

Thank you, Jereon; I know what you mean; it's always a little nicer when it's someone whose progress you have been following more closely. And Kelly - thank you again! AOS; eek, I'm not sure where the money will come from...but hey, at least AOS is filed for once we're together.

  10. Congratulations!!!

I love the story about hugging your gardening neighbor. Wishing you two a speedy process!

P.S. I just saw your page says you're from Tacoma?!?! Me too! So, congrats NEIGHBOR!

    Courtney

  11. Congrats on the new job, Blake!!! That's wonderful news. And yes, a boss who interviews while at the pub, I don't think it could get any better!

Alex and I are summer babies :luv: We'll miss this year's but we'll definitely be together for next year's! (I hope!) I managed to be with Alex for one of his birthdays (his 20th).

On an unrelated note, I'm only three days younger than his sister. That was slightly awkward meeting her; I wondered what she thought of me dating her 'baby' brother.

Hugely impressed, I'm sure of it.

Well the interview went great and they offered me the job - so now I'm working for the Brits :D Great story about the conference call with the CEO, she was in her car on her way to the pub when we started, and she was sitting down ordering a pint by the time we finished. I think I'm gonna love this company

Well at least that's one huge worry off my mind, now to focus my energy on this problem here at the CSC.

  12. I'm so sad to come home at the end of the night having Igor's list look the exact same way it did this morning. And yesterday for that matter...

I really thought we were on to something earlier with Rachel getting that touch. BUMMER! What's the bright side to all this... ummm... maybe the deal is every Thursday and Friday the CSC will shoot through 33 NOA2's but work on other petitions every other day of the week. Yeah, that's it. That means tomorrow will be another big day!

That's what I'll go to sleep thinking anyway...

  13. Ah, I was just kidding then.

Welcome to the January filers family! Hopefully we'll all be a part of the NOA2 family soon as well. Good luck to you!

    Courtney

    Ragswat,

Congrats on the NOA2!! All you'll need to do is update your timeline and you'll be added to the list of those approved.

Blake can you add us to the list please :)

Heyy no we dint get NOA2. I asked Blake to add to the waiting list lol. Bcos we a early january filers. sent I 129F 29Dec and got NOA1 on 3rd Jan. But the hard copy we got only on 11th Jan. So we are also January filers in tht sense.
