Were you able to pay directly after the status changed to “ready”? Or did it take a while/waited for the embassy to send you a message

With that case-ID you can pay the fee
That case ID and the USCIS number is required for the DS-160. 

I already got those and was able to finish the DS-160, but for where im from to access the payment slip i have to go through “schedule an appointment” on ustraveldocs and it’s within those steps where i get the payment slip which isn’t showing up for me

Okay thought so because it takes me directly to enter a case id (which you get after paying) and doesnt show me the payment page it’s been ready for a day so i should probably give it a few more right?

After several days we were able to schedule an interview.

For some weird reason when my status changed to ready, i submitted the DS-160 but can’t seem to pay the fee on Ustraveldocs, it doesn’t get me to the payment page. Should be instantly available or do i give it some time?

Yeah idk what they mean by case id as ive tried all the id’s provided by the nvc none of them worked so i just assumed that my case wasn’t update on their system yet, otherwise idk what to do, i emailed the embassy to double check

In my country i’ve asked regarding the medical and biometrics all i need is an appointment date confirmation so i assume that’s why the K1-FTP isn’t important, regardless i’ll be checking my email frequently

Yeah i checked those all and still nothing, i don’t it makes any difference tbh as i assume it only states that my petition has been shipped to the consulate right? I already have case number and id

2 min interview, lots of people in front of my fiancé were getting rejected and making her nervous but our case was pretty strait forward and the consular told her she was approved and to pick up her visa when notified!

Yeah mine still says at NVC too so i assume we missed this weeks shipments, next week hopefully

click on NVC package tracking and see the corresponding consulate, i assume yours is india which there are a lot of them while to my consulate Lebanon there has only

been one recently and it happened to be when i got my case ID hence why i “assumed” it was mine.

Case number through inquiry, and saw a shipment to my home country which i assume was mine so im on the boat as you are not pretty sure if i made it or i’ll have to wait for the next shipment hoping for the best closer than ever

Status is "At NVC". Looks like I missed 2 shipping weeks, Aug15-16 and Aug 29-30. 

I had a few people tell me that sometimes it doesn’t update right away it takes a few days to show in transit but not too sure about it cause mine says at nvc too

Also, there's no way to know your case was on that shipment. It's not all K1 cases as far as we know, and it could literally be any other shipment that doesn't include your case. 

Ahhh okay i see hopefully it’s actually mine which was shipped out then😂 Also does the NVC send out email’s once they’ve shipped your package? Seen a few people stating so

Do you know when was your case created? Look at the three numbers after the year, subtract 500, then you'll get the Julian date. Search for it on Julian calendar 2023 and you'll get your date. If it was created at least 1-2 weeks ago, then there's a chance you might make this shipment.

Alright i’ll have to ask the embassy then to see if they accept that, also my julian number as you said stated that it was created on the 23rd of august which is 1 week ago, but as i stated above using the DHL tracking hack i see that a shipment to my home country was sent containing 1 package so i assume it was mine as there are rarely any submissions from lebanon

Alright i’ll check what is says on the website but regarding the signature that should be done with a black pen and not digitally correct? Also i used the DHL hack and can see my package was shipped as it’s the only one to my country when should i expect the NVC website to update to in transit?

Regarding the form DS-160 all i need to do is fill it out and print the confirmation page right? And for the form i-134 do i have to mail it to my fiance or can i scan it and he prints it in his home country? Appreciate your help.

If I got approved today, should i expect it to be shipped within these 2 shipping dates or is that not possible?

Just got my case number via inquiry, time to get that DS-160 ready and the police certificate, if anyone has any tips on what to do next i’d highly appreciate it and goodluck to everyone who’s still waiting!

Yeah at this point it’s random as the dates dont reflect the time you’ll get an answer, also that’s what i want to receive it within these 3 days so it can be shipped out now rather than waiting another 2 weeks

We have no idea when USCIS sends out our cases too, and NVC only reviews/creates a case and sends our cases to the embassies for K1 visa. Best you can do is keep inquiring NVC directly to find out.

Been inquiring for the past month or so, they received my case well over a month ago and i’ve seen several people with NOA2’s/NVC received date after mine getting their case number hence why im saying it’s depressing seeing that on the timeframe

After a whole week they updated the NVC timeframe stating they’re now working on cases received 19 july when it was 18 july last week 😕 that’s so depressing
