  1. Thanks for the feedback. After researching all the options, just gonna stick with what's going on and be patient until the I130 is approved.
  2. Update:Waiting for the I130 to process. Meanwhile, I have a question. Can she apply for a visitors VISA, my friend said I can invite her through a notarized letter inviting her to come visit me. He called the form a DS260. Anyone else know the ins/outs of this and if it's possible?
  3. On my way to see my "Wife". After returning, we will file for the I-130. Can't wait to bring her home, so we can finally be together everyday. It's been hard being away from her for so long. I can't imagine how others were able to manage the immigration process.
  4. It's almost been 2 years before we married. I get though what your saying. When I met my previous wife, 1 week 3 days later I asked her to marry me. We were married 25 years before she passed. I hate that government likes to dictate our lives.
  5. Hired a Thai lawyer who also lived in the united states for a while. It's funny how people can come over the border from Mexico. And is accepted. But when we do it the right way, we Are given a hard time about it.
  6. It's been since March 13 since I've seen Sunantha in person. So looking forward to seeing her again 15th/16th of Oct. I fly out 14th pm. SAT. arrive 15th 7pm, but it will be 8am Monday there in Thailand. I miss her touch so much. I will enjoy every minute there with her. We both love to cook. I am an amature compared to Sunantha. Going to sip some wine, maybe some champagne, while we cook. Our hotel room is like a small apartment with a small kitchen. Can't wait.
  7. Thank you so much! Even though we are 1/2 a world a part, I am extremely happy. Can't wait to be with my wife everyday.

  9. Yep. That's the current game plan in motion. Utah marriage on 12th. See her Oct 16, then we file for I-130. I never understood the frustration about immagration. This experience has opened my eyes. I feel the pain of all those before me and to come after me. Such a stressful process.
  10. Very quick back story. Met my previous wife, 1 week 3 days later after 3 dates in a row, staying til 5am each date, talking, going home, going to work the next day 3 days in a row. On the 3rd date I asked her to marry me. We had a good life. Not a great life, but good life. 25 years later, she passed. For the past 7 years prior to her passing our marriage was as if we were separated but living together. So Sunantha and I met online. Through Tinder I was not looking to meet anyone at the time. I was literally using Tinder to help me get tired and fall asleep. You see, after my previous wife passed away I was having a very hard time falling asleep. A friend suggested I use Tinder to help myself get tired. Anyways, Sunantha said hello. Nov 22, 2021. We never stopped since that day. We speak twice a day, 12 hour difference. After talking about a week or so, I felt we had a real connection. We are exactly alike. I think because my previous wife and I were living together, but basically separated it was easy for me to connect with someone else. Anyways. I asked Sunantha if she ever came to the US. I'd like to meet her if she comes. She said, she's never me out of Thailand. I asked if she would like to come live here. I said, let's get married. I said we are both old. We have a lot in common, do you want to get married. She said ok. We both agreed that once we met if we did not click either of us could change our minds. I said, I will come see her before k1 is finished processing. And So I did, literally 1 year of USCIS receiving the paperwork. We clicked immediately. I think because we talked so much and shared so much over whataapp. It was like we were already married. To be honest, I feel like the luckiest man alive. So here we are today.
  11. A friend of mind brought this to my attention. Once we are married on the 12 of Sept. I will be going to Thailand to visit her in Oct. After that's all done and we file the I-130. And I come back to the US she in in Thailand. I will be supporting her as well by sending her money. How do filing taxes work in this scenario? Anyone know?
  12. I just looked up the filing again for I-130. If California processes its 14 or 15 months.
  13. That's probably one main reason it takes so long for those doing it for the right reasons. So many scams they have to watch out for and thin out.
  14. I understand. I am just tired of waiting to live again. Which option do you think it best. Coworker says to refile the k1. That it would be faster. Especially since we are already in the system. He said, I might even be able to get an expedite to happen. Ok so he says, I-130 takes longer the the k1 atm. I looked up the times it's showing approx 32 months. K1 is showing 16.5 months. Since we did meet this past month and I have all that proof, this is faster he thinks. Your thoughts. Oh the expedite reason and this is legit. I take care of an elderly woman at home. She is 80. I need someone to be there while I am at work to watch her incase she falls again. Or something else. Your take on this?
  15. This consummated thing is really ridiculous though. Why is it any of their business when we consinate our marriage. Has anyone here gotten around it?
  16. We are doing the zoom on Sept 9pm est. I might post the link that day here. Upto 100 people can watch.
  17. So how are they going to know we consummated the marriage? Do they want videos or photos?
  18. So back tot the Utah. I was doing more research. And I found the following. If anyone knows of anyone else who got married via Utah online marriage. Where one was a USA CITIZEN and the other not and immagration accepted the marriage.
