Ok how long does it typically take for USCIS to approve the second step followed my NVC?

I filed for my wife who is in Nigeria back in November of 2023 and I haven’t heard anything since. I saw that the case has reached the second stage and I’m wondering is this where NVC will schedule the appointment or what?

Hello all I have a question about processing times. So I did the I-130 last year in November and I haven’t heard anything yet. I looked on the receipt that I received when I paid for it and it showed that it was in Texas. I’m assuming this is the center that’s processing the I-130, how long does it take for an approval from the processing center that’s in Texas?

So hello everyone, after posting in this group and learning so much things have gone to a bad turn. Things aren’t going well at all and we both are considering a divorce. So here is the run down, she has never been in the United States and we had gotten Married in October (7months)of last year in Nigeria. I already filed the I-130 and still waiting. Regarding the divorce, how do I seek a divorce from my wife so she doesn’t retain my last name. I could just leave but I do not think that’s the right thing to do. Is it possible for me to file for a divorce without having to return to Nigeria? And I was reading about the 2 year rule of divorce in Nigeria and I was wondering if that applied to me since I’m not a resident of Nigeria? I need help please!!!!

I mean anyway I can bring her here as a visitor until the process is done. I’ve heard that it can take a while.

If I submitted my I-130 in November and I am awaiting for an answer, can I invite my wife to the U.S. or will it prolong the process? Or will it extend the time that I’m awaiting now?
