Thank you! I am lucky with my job I am able to travel for 2-3 weeks every 3 months which is about 4 maybe 5 if I’m lucky visits a year. Is that enough? I can try for more but it’s difficult.

Yeah Pakistan is an interesting place. Would have been easier to fall in love with someone from a different country for sure. I am going to start putting evidence and the application together. We will get married in October and file after that. It is at least worth trying.

No he has never applied for any US Visa. I haven’t applied for any US immigrant visa either so maybe that will be good. US Tourist visa for Pakistani’s are really difficult from what I have been told.

Thank you everyone for the information. I know it will be a long process but we are going to try! CR1 is the better idea. I have met his family and he has met mine over video and whatsapp. It’s impossible to get him to the US on a tourist visa 😐

Hi, I am new here. I just got engaged to my fiancé from Pakistan. We have meet 4 times in the last 2 years. I have visa stamps, pictures, hotel receipts. We were going to file a K1 but now I am very nervous. I know the Pakistan embassy is difficult. I am an American citizen. I am a female, 37 years old. He is 29 years old so also a little nervous about the age. We also have the idea of meeting again this fall in Pakistan and getting married and going through the CR1 process. I am just wondering which visa would have a better success. I know they are both very long processes. Any help to calm my mind would be so appreciative. Thank you in advance!

Do you mind me asking how much supporting evidence you had? We have met 3 times now. I have pictures, visa stamps, flight tickets. We took engagement pictures when he asked me to marry him. I am just so nervous about this process.
