Well we didn’t married until few years later so it wasn’t something that happen after the denied . Wouldn’t that matter ? They see it wasn’t really to move to the US . We took our time.

Yup my name was on the ds160 so I know when he goes to the interview they probably will ask for dates when we dated and question him more , we just have to be ready for questions.

Yes but in our case we were dating I just said we were only friends. I just hope they dont try to question me about it . I just have him she sure our dates when we started dating are not during that time lol

I am the husband the beneficiary. My girl friend was the visa applicant . She’s will be going to the interview in a few months for spouse visa .

I quess I was worry since my name is listed on the ds160 application as the point of visit in 2016. But I guess I see your point

So here is our story years ago in 2016 I apply for a b2 travel visit to the US. When I fill out the application I put visiting a friend and I put my girlfriend name . But at the time we were actually dating but I said when ask at the interview just visiting my friend . They denied my visit cause I couldn’t proof strong ties. So she ended up visiting me multiple times like 11 times here to my country . During that time I propose and we got married here in my country . Fast forward today we got approve through USCIS and currently at the nvc stage. So it’s been years from that attempt to visit . We got many pictures together , we even met up in another country (costa rica) for a honeymoon. But I did made sure when submitted the petition to make sure the dates are aligned correctly to reflect when we started dated and not when apply for b2 visa. so my question is would you think they ask me about that visa years ago . I fear that they might see I was lying. All these years my husband travel to visit me will go to waste. like any stories of people who went through the same or similar situation.
