He married with the sole purpose of getting his Visa. Visa was denied and now he has another woman. Now I want a divorce but I don't have $400.00 dollars to pay for it. Is there a way I can marriage annulled? What are my options?

Hello everyone, its been a while. Still as frustrated as ever. So I called the Consulate in Santo Domingo on Tuesday and They still have no information about our case. All they have is that there was an interview scheduled on Dec. 13th, but they dont have record if it was denied or approved. I dont know who else to call or who to reach out to. Please help. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I am disoriented, I dont know what else to do? Who else to call? I call Consulate in Santo Domingo, NVC and USCIS and no one knows anything. I am tired of the waiting game. Keep in mind that our visa was denied back in December. It has been seven month without any info. What to do?

IDK what is wrong with these ppl in the consulate!! My petition was denied in September. I had my congressman involved I callled DOS, I called the DR # where u pay the $7, when I was over there I also purchased the pin in banco popular to call the embassy, I wrote a letter to the general consul and the dept of state and they each responded something different. One said AP the other said it was coming back to US, the other said it was out of their jurisdiction and the general cons...

ul never responded to my letter. They sent me a letter for christmas (I received this Dec 22) saying my case would be returned for possible revocation in the near future. They finally sent my case back Feb 24 and USCIS received it May 1st. Have much much patience mija...as this is a ride! A very overwelming one. Pm me if you have questions or conserns.

Hello Everyone, it has been a while. Still trying to take everything in. So I called the embajada to inquire about our case on Tuesday 01.31.12 They have no information. The person I spoke to couldnt even tell if the visa was denied or approved. I called NVC they have nothing either. Finally I called USCIS they have no exact info but she told that if visa was denied it will be returned back to USCIS in about 120 days to be reviewed. Thats where are until now.

Don't get depressed dear sister.. get ANGRY! The anger will help you continue to fight the good fight and make things happen. It's difficult, You are tired but you can keep going! My spirit tells me that there is going to be a break thru very soon. You will know who to call and write to get what is being stolen from you. Don't allow the enemy to dictate your circumstance. Call resolution forward in the name of Jesus. I stand with you in Prayer right now!

Honey.....this is just an obstacle that you will eventually overcome. Yes, a little more time will be necessary, but believe me, this will be something of the past. You need to be strong right now....don't let yourself fall into a depression or too down. There's no time for that. Right now its game time...time to fight and get some closure to this horrible ordeal.

it's amazing who we have at the embassy that are supposedly helping us. This process is nerve wracking: from the uscis to post-interview. i am extremely sorry to hear that. The fact that this lady went LOOKING for dirt on you two makes it twice as bad. sooo much corruption....even in the ####!ng embassy
