  1. Hey I do not know if this will help but I want to share what me and my fiancé did I am based in NYC don't know if that makes a difference but I called the call center and had them escalate our case. When that did not get us any results we began to email, we emailed them from both mine and his email everyday. I know it sounds excessive but we did it. I then reached out to the senator of NYC and they sent over two emails to the Casablanca embassy. What I did notice is that on the ceac account the date will update 2 times before you get an interview date. From what I heard your case goes through two people before it gets to an actual officer. Not sure if its true but thats what I heard. Also they replied to my fiancé's email about getting a visa interview date and cc me in it. Highly suggest emailing from his and your email.
  2. I had a ready status since Oct 2nd and they said they "escalated to post" once I contacted the call center, but people are saying they been waiting for Casablanca embassy for 8 months etc I just need an idea so me and my fiancé to act accordingly. We gathered all documents everything if we would have known it would take this long we would have went through the marriage visa its about the same time. This is disheartening.
  3. I need some advice, I keep hearing horror stories about the Casablanca embassy and their interview experience. People are stating they are getting denied with no explanation and that there is an officer there that is just denying people just because. Theres no red flags about our relationship aside from our religious belief and I guess that I have children from previous relationship (my fiancé did meet my kids and we stayed in Morocco with him for 20 days on ramadan) I am just nervous right now our visa is in transit and just need any advice or helpful tips to help ease our minds a bit.
  4. Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well I have a question and I hope for some clarity. My fiancé is from Morocco and we are at the nvc part. I have sent them inquires asking for an invoice number and case number and they did provide one without a welcome letter (still waiting for the welcome letter). When I tried to sign in and create a ceac account with the information they provided me the website stated this "K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case". Does anyone know what this means? If I submit the ds160 will an interview date be available? I am so unclear as to what to do next.
