Furthermore, because you will need an interview for the N-400, I do not expect them to issue any response to our response to the RFE. Generally, the only response we get when we reply to an RFE is a decision on the case: approved or denied. Again, because they would likely neither approve nor deny your I-751 while you have a pending N-400, we will not get such a notice. > Bottom line: We are now expecting only an Interview/Exam date from USCIS on your N-400.

It's been 30 days since I replied to the RFE, and there's been no movement other than 'Response has been received.' I e-filed it. Usually, RFEs are processed quickly as they're close to a decision, but I guess this can depend on the case and vary from office to office. Anyways, can there be a rough estimate in general?

We have a community property and we showed a statement balance with both of our names on the account. That's the "Recent investment account statement" in the list. In general, we prefer to keep our finances separate and have allocated bills to pay each month. Also, my wife comes from a wealthy family where accounts are kept separate so we like to do the same. No, it doesn't mention anything about uploading or mailing. I prefer uploading because it allows for faster delivery compared to mailing. I could compress some files, which would result in a trade-off in the quality of some photos, while keeping some photos in high quality for better visibility, such as gift cards and letters where text needs to be readable. So, my RFE response is 100MB file which I'm having trouble upload as the requirement is 5MB per file and up to 5 files that's 20MB. Either I remove some evidence or mail the whole thing in? It's wild that my evidence online depends on a 20MB of storage space.

I have a lawyer who submitted this, and I have never reviewed what her team sent. Maybe I should circle back on what was actually submitted for the I-751 and identify the missing evidence, but I'd like to ask: Can I respond to the RFE with repeated evidence (the one I sent with the N400) and maybe add some new ones? Or is it redundant, and should I focus on gathering new evidence?

What's strange to me is that they've specified to submit the evidence starting from the date of marriage and not the start date of when the I-751 was filed.

Update: As soon as I applied for N400 after a month I got an RFE for I-751 asking to submit more evidence that we share marital life together. This is awkward, all the evidence is there! Could they not look at evidence from the past and the one submitted with N400.

Hi, If you review my timeline, I arrived two years ago (Mar 29, 2021) and filed for the removal of conditions four months ago. My biometrics have been completed, and now when I check the status, I receive the following message, which appears to be a standard response. I am aware that I can apply for N-400 around two years and nine months, which would be around Dec 24, 2023 (this year) "As of March 29, 2023, we are actively reviewing your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXXXXX. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." 1. I'm curious about the wait timings. I see the processing times, but I don't understand the abbreviations CSC and VSC. It would be helpful to have a glossary on the page explaining these abbreviations. 2. Is it possible that I may not receive the physical GC due to potential overlap with filing for N-400 and the current backlog caused by COVID-19? My extension is for 24 months 3. Is it realistic to expect a one-year wait time for the citizenship or even permanent GC, assuming the case has no flaws? Thank you.
