    How do we see what is the correct service center? How do you figure we are not applying via DCF? Both of us are outside the US. (Profile instructions say: "US State you are (or will be) living in")
  4. naurunu started following I-130 for CR-1 visa: How to answer "at which us embassy or consulate location will the benficiary apply for an immigrant visa?" We are in western Canada. and Just filed I-130 a few days ago (CR-1/IR-1). Official US government portal says 2 months estimated processing time but VJ says over 10 months. Which is more accurate?

    Are they counting the same things? I received a notice from VisaJourney that my estimated waiting time is over 10 months. But on the official US government submission portal it says 2 months. Which is more accurate?

    Okay thanks! Also, does anyone know why my timeline is showing Texas Service Center? I have tried to remove that twice but it seems to keep defaulting to that. Does the application actually go to Texas first?
