Hello,
1) We got our DQ letter today!
On my wife’s documents it says “incomplete” for Petitioner/primary spouse. Once clicking on it, it says “federal income tax return/transcript missing”for her. She did not file taxes and she is a student. Her explanation for not filing taxes is approved and her I-864 is also approved. Our joint sponsor is approved too. Are we required to do anything else if my wife’s tax returns are labeled missing but everything else is DQ?
We didn’t receive any additional letters or information regarding this.
2) Would we need to bring our joint sponsor’s (mom) original passport and driver license? Because it'd be difficult for us since she needs them.
3) Do we bring proof of domicile to the interview? We used her mom’s driving license, the deed to the house, household bills, and the most recent tax return as domicile proof. We no longer have the original household bills and she would need her driving license and would not feel comfortable having the original house deed being taken overseas.
