  1. Hello everyone, I moved my case from Beirut BRT to Paris PRS late October, they took the case in less then a week and scheduled my interview. I did my interview on the 22 nd of November, all went well. I got a case number ending by PRS at the end and this case number was Issued a week after my interview. I thought this was great and I would get an email to go pickup my Passport in Paris by the VIsa courrier next. Little do I know... the next day they added a case number to my file as you guys can see and this one now has BRT again at the end and shows " Transfer in Progress " Anyone knows what it means? Could they have done my interview without my file ? doesn't seem logical to me. Is it traditional to have such movement after an issued visa ? And also, if someone simply can validate to me that normaly the next step is the email by the courrier once a visa is issued ? Ty guys. Hey, cant remember what i posted last here but i ended up transferring to Paris as a French citizen and i got the interview there.

  3. I am, so I know I can move it to France. Concerning lebanon, if your timeline is correct I would have around 3 more months to wait. So it does seem like moving it would not help, do you agree? (I don't know if you know how fast it goes in France? Couldn't find clear info but it seems to be around 3 to 4 months) I am, sorry message under ^^
  4. Hello everyone. French citizen who applied from lebanon because my wife and i were working abroad at the time. I have been dq since the 2nd of March. The problem is that it has already been 3 months and a half, and since the timeline seemed off for the interview I decided to search for local group on social media and discovered that many people have been stuck in Lebanon under cr1/ir1 visas since January. Apparently the embassy is very slow and it could be linked to the newly appointed ambassador. I have been pondering transferring my case to Paris. The case is still at the nvc from what i gathered. Can anyone advise me or give me any kind of timeline on that please? I'm afraid moving the case might mean new documents to produce and more time lost. I don't think I'll get anything under 4 months if I stay in Lebanon, and I'm wondering if it could be shorter and better taken care of in France? Will they consider me as a newly interview request or take in account my file and push it forward in your opinion. Priority date is June 2021, 19 months in process already.. Ty for all the help.
