Thank you so much for all the insight.
I thought there would be possible waivers as there were during the last travel ban but now I understand we don’t qualify for them and hopefully we’ll get into AP for the time being until the ban is lifted.

You will almost certainly face AP/Refused status so no reason to bring that up as the CO will do it (Note: "Refused" does not mean "Rejected" or "Denied", it is a status the consulates use for cases that are waiting information, but the case is still active). Not sure what you are talking about relative to a waiver.

I would go to the interview, and then it’ll be put in to Admin Processing until the ban is lifted.

Are you still an eligible derivative or have you aged out?
