Actually, they were even quicker before the student visa rush in Summer. Mumbai has been doing an excellent job recently. The US Mission in India has made a big deal about getting back on track. And I have to say, it is impressive to see the progress. By the end of the year, I think that the pandemic backlog would be fully cleared for immigrant visas. Visa availability and retrogression is a separate mess of course.

Update for Category: IR5 DQ date range: Roughly February 09, 2023 to March 23, 2023 Interview Letter Date: July 11, 2023 Interview Date Range: All of September 2023 It would be good to have an update from CR1/IR1 folks. Do they treat the two major immediate relative category in the same queue? Is the DQ range, interview letter, and interview date range the same?
